Damn those beignet's look fantastic! Far better than the Dunkin (LOL) around the corner here. We have some better donuts near work, though. About the only way, you get beignet's here is if I make them.

My coffee this morning is 'Mystery' a flavor sourced from the BOGO bin at Publix. I have no clue what my wife bought in other words. However, it is made ritually in a French press, so that should increase the quality somewhat.

I think its good for people who work if the sound doesnt come on whan the page opens, but I liked the picture of the little silver radio to click on to start the stream better.  It said play on it, and I liked that better to click on to start the stream.  Just an opinion, since you asked dear serenity.  That is the only thing I would change back.  It looks real nice IMO

Yay!  This is what I'm drinking today also!  I must admit I have changed to pods these days.  For years, I ground beans daily to brew a pot ... but it didn't stay fresh for long, since there is only me!  So I finally changed over to pods ... this way I can have a fresh cup when I want, without any hassle!

Enjoyed the show tonight. Busy day at work so mostly listened while travelling.  Art's show was fun and I only wish I could have called into Bella-Haven.

I'd love to stick to the paranormal, but I like technology also... so no 3d printers (ST: TNG) are not yet replicators. 3d printers are a very long way from that. Replicator is energy into a physical object from a saved 'pattern'. Sure in the not so far future we will make devices similar in function but not quite that magical. The raw materials currently need to be present. Also, just because you can print a part does not mean it is engineered to the tolerances the part was designed for. Most of this is a type of robotic production, 3d printing just sounds sexier. Try printing a rubber grommet. Not going to be right, but you could use the part to make a new mould and the mould could be 3d printed.

Anyone ever hear of a Nano Fax from Steve Gibson's 'All Tomorrow's Parties'? Same idea only with nanobots, and no not ready for food as far as I can tell yet. Though they did print "spoilers".

There are also a lot of different type of 3d printer. Even though a liquid is not sprayed into a form, this is still a type of 3d printing. You are working in with all three dimensions. Same is true for the robotic mould manufacturing tools at a prior workplace which still seem much more complex to me.

Well, I will leave my skype on Nancy, I'm sure others will too, if you need us.  I don't have my headset yet...its in the mail tho, but I can talk to you on skype with my desktop mic if you need me.  I'm not an experienced skype user, and I don't know how good the sound would be, but I'm here if you need me.  You will probably have to call me on my phone to wake me up, I usually fall asleep before the end of MITD.  Due to my inexperience, I would leave me as last resort.  I hope things with Rosie heal before the show tonight, and that you won't need any of us....
