Nancy and Rosie, in life and in all endeavors, both good things and bad things will always happen.  Instead of being afraid of them, expect them, and let them roll off you like water off a duck.  Kevin and Nancy both said something that I agree with.  Rosie self admits she has learned to be polite, and Nancy self admits she has learned to be pushy.  My thoughts, think *balance* Rosie might enjoy learning to try to be a little more pushy, and Nancy might enjoy learning to be a little more polite. lol's I realize I might get some flack for that........but I feel the need to say it.  On the other hand, I love Nancy and Rose just the way they are!   

PS:  I will work on making a selection of buttons.  Maybe I will get some more done this afternoon and post them.

I think you have a good idea about the time before MITD, except for Mondays and Tuesdays (due to other shows ... i.e. Future Theater, GabCast and SpecSheet) ...

Thats TRUE!  I would never want to miss a SpecSheet or a GabCast.  Maybe a morning slot, the one when we are all here in the morning, maybe like from 8-10 AM Eastern Time.  Of Course, these Ideas are meaningless if Nancy cannot change the time........so

RoseGirl, would you consider doing a show, say once a week on GabCast, if MV says okey dokey?  GabCast is open Wednesday through Sunday.  I'm just thinking out loud here.

I keep hearing all this talk of money to be made off of things related in one way or another to Art's new show. The board op shuts the chat down for three hours every night so that the forum can be clicked hundreds of times and ad revenue can be raked in. There are repeated conversations on Bella-Haven about how a payment plan will eventually be implemented in order to recoup the 20 or so bucks a month it costs to run the show. There's nothing inherently wrong with making money off of a thing you've created, but I feel that it gets in the way of whatever magic is being made in the moment.

I found myself in agreement with much of what RoseGirl was saying last night in the conversation that took place after The Spec Sheet. That's not to say I take issue with any complaint Nancy may have had. I just like the world better when money is a secondary issue. Maybe I'm a fool, and let's face it, I probably am. I know I'm not living "comfortably" under the standards of the vast majority of the people here, that the creation and propagation of art takes precedence in my life over "things that matter", like where I'm living, what I'm eating, and where I'll be when I'm 65 years old, if I ever get to that point (which I probably won't). I involve myself in many projects. Some of them make money. Most of them don't. My goal isn't to earn, it's to distribute magic where the world needs it the most. Every creator has a duty to insert their magic in any "magic-deficient" holes they might find along their personal journey. If I had a mission statement about my life, that would be it. You guys started a pretty cool thing. I sensed magic immediately and listened on a nightly basis because of it. You lose a little of it every time you start to talk about how worried you are about your numbers, or money that isn't being made, or Richard C. Hoagland, which brings me to number two:

2: Who gives a shit about what Hoagland is doing? So the dude has fans. Great. So do you. Be happy for the man and continue making your thing the best that it can be. If there's magic, we'll listen.

i'd like to piggy back on your 2nd point...that seems to ..i have noticed, be a huge issue in these parts..concern of not just what RCH is doing but really..what C2C ..Dave..Prem..who ever is doing..so much stress about what someone else is doing is making other things not live up to/go as smoothly as they should do to..who might be listening in and taking notes and selling them off to Dave..

in the end you have to do what makes you happy and care not for what others do/think/say

1. I actually thought the show was more a fun hobby, not meant to be a production that would be used for profit.
2. I wanted a harbor in the tempest of broadcasting egos, guess that didn't happen.
3. I had a LOT of fun listening and calling in when the atmosphere was light hearted...it's had a heavy fog over it since Art started MITD...
4. I completely understand that folks might be doing this as part of their career path, maybe a fan driven show, hobby level, would fit better!
5. I'm still waiting for an MITD wrap up show...maybe I'll start one geared toward the BellGab folks! LOL
