Speaking as the world`s most passionate X-FILES fan, this possible development comes as a very pleasant surprise. Time will tell. Until then, I thought I would toss a little bone out to all the Xphile shippers out there (you know who you are). Enjoy:

Maybe You Were The Ocean | The X-Files

I did!  Thanks, FtF.  ;D

Six episodes contracted for filming back in its old home, Vancouver.   The dude who plays Smoking Man will also be in the show.

I just watched "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" since last viewing it many years ago and enjoyed it immensely. You can watch it by searching here  http://putlocker.is

This was a favorite episode from season 3 of the X-Files.  It is a crackling funny and entertaining show that has guest stars. Sharp, crisp writing and direction, and touches on so many topics familiar to the C2CAM audience. If you are unfamiliar with the X-Files but are interested in the paranormal and conspiracy topics this is as good as it gets to find out what made this show so popular. If you are an X-Files fan and haven't seen this episode for a while get ready to geekout.

The best writing comes from staying true to your vision.
Charles Nelson Reilly.        Hows that for staying true to the X-Files inspiration and originality.

OMG LOL...Alex Trabeck! I remember that one...a great episode for sure! One of my favorite "Monster of the Week" episodes was "The Great Mutato"...who was played by the actor who did Jeffrey Spender...

Oh thank Christ. The whole look of that show changed for the worse when whiney Duchovney wanted production moved to California. I'm sure that made him popular considering many of the cast including the Smoking Man are Canadian.

Hard to go from all the those lush forests of tall cedar and fir trees to semi-arid junipers and eucalyptus trees...like when Austin Powers says, "England in no way looks like Southern California"...

One thing that LA offered was a wider variety of sets and access to the massive Hollywood  production infrastructure. However, it's true that nothing matches the dark, cold mood of Vancouver.

Just watched my personal favorite episode, How The Ghosts Stole Christmas. Brilliant performances by co-stars Lily Tomlin and the man "Duke" Wayne onced referred to as "that actor from New York,"  Ed Asner.

The first episode I saw was "Anasazi", the season 2 finale. Was instantly hooked. Fun fact: they made a rock quarry in Vancouver look like the New Mexico desert with 1600 gallons of red paint.

Yeah, I was surprised to hear some of the stuff about Duchovny.

My personal favorite was, funny enough, a filler episode entitled "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" with Peter Boyle as the guest actor. It's one of the most cleverly written episodes of the X-Files in my opinion.

Another one of my favorite episodes also. I am not an X-Phile but Darin Morgan wrote this episode and "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space' ". He is the brother of Glen Morgan who was a writer and important voice on the X-Files and a show runner on the spinoff Millennium. Darin Morgan also wrote for  Millennium including one featuring Peter Boyle called "Somehow, Satan Got Behind Me" . And another for Millennium that Ive always remembered "Jose Chung's 'Doomsday Defense'" taking on  Scientology that featured Frank Black going into a karate pose and punching a guy in the nuts.
All of this work was so unique and funny and entertaining that I am hoping that some of that spirit will return to us.

I had no idea. I'll check those out, I never watched Millennium. I was too busy working my first job after college and getting married to watch much TV in those days.

If you're not in the mood for X-FILES, this little video might remedy that. Turn it up:

My favorite line from my favorite episode.

It took me hours to rustle up the interest to sit through 40 seconds of X-Files in order to get 10 seconds,

But I'm able to watch this over and over again.
