I haven't read anything here that's a "deal breaker."  It's all "awesome."  Like, totally.

It doesn't worry me, but the expression is not rooted in "have a life." It's rooted in "get a life" which is a different thought altogether. It's just one of those things that people say that I don t happen to like, and I know I'm not alone. I can easily live with things like this, but I also don't have a problem commenting on various fads in the English language.

Just for the record though, my position is that if you're alive, you have a life. That's all that's required.

Often, people use popular expressions without even realizing the connotations and implications they have. In common usage these days, the statement "I have a life" can easily carry the implication that some other people don't. This is not a crime.

Warner mentioned that last night. It was the first time in 14 years that FOX had played that theme for a new show!

Yes, sir!  Glad the ratings were good.  Of course, Fox was planning for the NFC game to boost viewership.  The game was such a blow-out, and with a late start for the Files, it may have hurt more than helped the ratings.  Looks like there's still plenty of fans out there.
