Yes, the A.S.S. knows where you live, no question. I don't in spite of spending that five minutes on Google. (I thought I was a decent Googler. Maybe not.) However, with the help of your video, another five minutes might do the trick.

So the question is, under the circumstances, does it pay to advertise? And if so, why, assuming you think that this guy is still a threat?
Well, it took me all of around 90 seconds to find Arts address... Would you like his zip code as well.  You are aware that he is a HAM operator of W60BB?  Oh, and the video did not contribute at all in my google-fu.  Seriously, it is easy enough that Art may as well just post his address here (I'm sure that any stalker would manage to find it before calling to threaten him.  Oh, and unless I am mistaken, the stalker already showed up on his property- drone video not needed.)

I finally broke down and google earthed it and am surprised to find that possibly the  most visible "attraction" in Paharump is the correctional facility.  I am also surprised how many empty lots there are in that town.

And street view makes me change my mind.  I used to feel sorry for Art, but now I see that he only sprung for a 5 foot chain link fence without razor wire.  Certainly the prison has sold some of its surplus in the past.  The fact that he did not purchase enough of that surplus to erect 12 foot tall double deep fences with a guard tower, machine gun stand and razor wire has caused me to reconsider.  It is obviously Arts own fault...  and on top of all of that, he posted a drone video.

Did you find the corvette club road course and the Frontsight gun training center?  Those are hard to miss. Frontsight is kind of out of town though. East by southeast.

To be honest, I just did a quick view of the overall town and wondered what the giant white structure was.  Then I did a street view, felt creepy and decided that it was enough for me.  Kind of cool to see where somebody lives, kind of creepy that the technology exists to see the house that from a thousand miles away after 90 seconds on google...

If Dave owns a corvette, we may have a clue of who the stalker is... ;)

I have a membership to Frontsight. I've been out there 5 times. Once for the ropes and rappelling class. You can see the ropes course and climbing tower on Google. It was a blast. I hope to go back out with my daughter sometime this May.

Yes, you've made that point before.  My question was directed to law enforcement professionals as to their opinion of posting photographs/videos of your property and family on social media in light of the stalker threat. I'm asking the question of experts, not pointing a finger or criticizing your actions.

Calling all cars... anyone?

Cool.  Another Paharumpian (Paharumptonian, Paharumpan, Paharumpin?) . I suppose according to Stewart’s Laws of Municipal Onomastics it really should be Paharumpite or Paharumper...

Aside from working at the prison or choosing a career path as a celebrity stalker, is there much else in Paharump for industry?  The number of vacant lots (and the fact that it is in the middle of the desert) tells me that land might be cheap.  Being in NV, I suspect taxes are low, and the climate seems nice (aside from the occasional snow storm. ;) )  The only thing that I require is a small lake for my jet ski- but I noticed that Art's neighbour has a boat... So there must be something around there.

The ropes sound like fun.  When I'm next down to stalk see Art, we should all meet up. 8)

Okay, now it took me about 45 seconds because his address showed up in the White Pages. I do recall not finding it when the stalker thing started. Are other celebrity types as easy to find? No wonder they have stalker problems. You know they stopped selling those Hollywood maps to the stars just for this reason, right?

Well, whatever. I think if I took the trouble to move to the middle of nowhere, I'd be a little harder to find. I hope so, anyway.

I live in Texas. Just travel there for the Frontsight training about once a year.

They have a few small casinos and a small winery. I think a lot of people commute to Las Vegas for work.

There never was a "stalker."

But, Art was a "stalkee" after about five shots.

PI Please edit this. Take out the information that shows how easy it is. This is asking for trouble because of some dumbass (not you)- At least  make em work for it and figure it out themselves.

...I cannot believe he was in the white pages.

i'm not even in the fucking white pages and i'm a nobody.

Y'know if I were actually wanting that information thats the last place I would even check since I would assume there was no fucking way and I would go for much more complex methods... Damn...

This was from a conference for 2600 (The folks behind hacker quarterly) in 2012 and this particular talk was done by the PI behinfd peoplefinder.com if i remember right. regardless, hes a major player and this is an important talk even if its outdated.- There has been 4 years of amazing technology released since... Funny... I didn't bother googling his name nor checking the white pages.  It seemed too... Simple.  Granted, it still didn't take long- but the phone book???  Do they still exist?

Time to look up Dave Noorie. :o

And I can't be bothered to waste my time looking... Thanks for the depressing video.  I think I will actually watch it as a reminder of what information we willingly give up.  And people wonder why I load custom roms on the phone, turn off as much tracking crap as I can and still hate it...

Watch it man- It is very, very crucial to understand.

Most people will listen and have no idea these things even happen now (and this was 4 years ago)- No matter what one thinks they know they will learn something from this talk and unfortunately there arent any updated versions online but its everything he says x 10. Check out the 2600 group and hackers quarterly.

Scary but people need to really understand. Especially since now we are seeing  doxxing, swatting , job loss and real world consequences for online opinion and data and the potential for a real technocracy that is getting a stranglehold on society. IF (and when) a totalitarian government gains control the true technical slavery which will be unleashed will be something the likes of which even Orwell could never imagine.

Knowledge is power . real talk. Even if its sometimes uncomfortable.

Radio is not easy, especially if one is producing, hosting and running their own board. Those are usually three distinctly different talents and are usually performed by three different people. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Heather and she does deserve kudos for what she is doing.

That said, talk show hosts with way more experience would kill to have her job and in any other world would have her job. One needs a ton of lifetime experiences, lots of book learning and hours behind a mic in nowhere, USA before they could even hope to sub for Art, let alone be put in the drivers seat. I do appreciate what she is going through but the obvious lack of basic radio hosting skills I just cannot abide, let alone pay for, sorry. 😊

EDIT: Let me give you just one example: did any of you last Friday catch the way Art uses dead air? The way he has a pregnant pause between certain words and sentences? He's truly masterful at it. A real good talk show host should never be afraid to use dead air to their advantage, program directors be damned. One does not have to talk constantly to fill air time just to fill air time, it is very amateurish. A talk show host is not a DJ....
Man how did I miss this post (perhaps the jack-n-coke...Nahhhh)

Hello Mr.Bell,

Would you consider having Falkie on as a guest next time you host MITD?

Most poeple would discount out of hand the idea of having Falkie on as a guest. In light of the many nut jobs that are regularly on the shows, Falkie would be an excellent choice.

I think subs to MITD would rise dramatically if Art did even one show a week, or even one every two weeks. All I know is even though Art was talking politics, which I hate, I enjoyed the show quite a bit. I was even debating throwing my hat back into the time travelers ring to support Heather. I have been far too rough on her. Imagine taking over a job without any experience, learning on the fly, and without complaining.  I figure that deserves my respect.
Well done, Heather.

Adore Heather..

Never canceled my subs to MITD or Hoagie. And have never listened to any archived broadcasts. I do it to keep the network going. And for a place that Art will broadcast on whenever he gets the itch. Trust me it will need more scratching in the future.

Geez .. Like same for Bellgab.. Spend hours a week messing around in MV's creation. The few hundred of dollars I send MV a year is like nothing compared to the hundreds of hours of fun he provides.

Love Art..  Love Heather... Love Keith.. Love MV

I completely disagree.  Loved all the political talk, as I'm one of the ones (like Art) who's finding the political theater going down in the country right now fascinating.  It's about as topical and as important as you can get:  whoever becomes our next President is going to effect all of us.

It reminded me of the good ol days, long long ago.  I understand the younger fans never heard the "Any Relevant Topic of the day Art"  but for me, the "Paranormal Only Art" is almost as boring as any other Paranormal Only Programs that only deal with UFO's and Big Feet.

I enjoyed the Drone Video Art !!  I first saw it on Facebook.  I liked the very beginning, watching you launch the drone the best.

Hey Art, it was great talking to you the other night, I've never called in before but this time I had the time to redial after the surgery and all.

I did have another question: what kind of vocal mic and headphones are you using? Or is it a headset? If so what kind?

My dad used to tell me stories back in the 1980s about talking with you on ham. He had souped up a CB radio illegally and he said it used to burn you up, lol. But he loved your show, and it was something he and I had in common that we could converse about when things would get strained between us occasionally.

Thanks again for taking my call, it truly made my day!

i agree and it would be nice, but there are some who just won't be able to get over certain things.

I rarely disagree with you MV, but I do on this.  Art is a big boy, and I think he would agree that criticism, is better than being ignored, or not listened to at all. Speaking only for myself, I like Heather as a person, but I find it IMPOSSIBLE to take her seriously as the MITD hostess.  I would still subscribe to MITD if it was considered acceptable to enjoy the show with Heather as a comedy, and post in the live thread with other bellgabbers, which was the only thing left that made MITD worth listening to for me, after Art left....yes, the BELLGABBERS comical comments were what kept MITD with Heather Wade INTERESTING for me, while I waited for the occasional appearance from Art.

None the less,

I Praise MV!
