If you're going for the pizza, I wouldn't bother.  The pizzas were huge, but not that great.  Like many pizzerias, they used poor quality ingredients to hold down costs, and going to the place (Lou's?) after dark was not recommended.

My favorite TDY city food wise in Texas was El Paso.  Because of the city's huge Army post (Fort Bliss), there are a large number of outstanding authentic Asian restaurants around the Fort.  Most were opened by the Asians wives of GIs who were stationed in the various nations and married locals.  Had the best Korean and Thai food in El Paso I've ever had in the US.

Heck Yes, great Korean places on Dyer St.

One of the best sandwitches ive ever had, ive only recently discovered.  Most of you know what a Cuban sandwitch is.  Well, at a little hole in the wall mexican restaurant here in town they sell a Torata Cubana.

HUGE!   Big wide long bun with Ham, hot dogs, fried egg, chorizo, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, avacado, and mayo.
$10 with fries.  Holy shit!  I feel fat just talking about it. But ohhh so good!
