Well, Jorch is on tonight, so I assume for those unfortunate enough to be listening, they'll be getting the usual, so Jorch and Tommy can skip out early for the close-out turkey sammich specials at the Lucky Mart.

I asked my magic 8-ball:

Carrots! Probably carrots.

I hear footsteps on the front porch!

Honestly though, who thinks Art will be on tonight?

Give a definite answer.

I am going to say NO.

Have you guys been keeping up your Time Traveler subscriptions? If you have then Art will make a guest appearance tonight but if you let them lapse then forget about it.

2 weeks ago the SIT open lines topic was "lies you tell your children"

I vote NO.

Who knows? He might read these comments, causing his jimmies to get into a bunch. He might get dramatic and decide to "show" the h8ters. Depending on his mood. Meh.

I think if he were going to do it, tonight would be the night. I don't see him making his semi-comeback with some random guest (unless it's someone he's comfortable with like Michio Kaku or something), but at the same time I don't know if he'd want to subject himself to an Open Lines right off the bat. But I think it'd take "the right stuff" for him to do it.

I'm kind of dying to hear him talk about Trump, especially with an onslaught of callers willing to challenge him-- these broad, cliche FB posts just aren't cutting it for me.

Yes.  Frankly, it's a pretty major character flaw.  If one wishes to get through life in an equitable fashion, emphasize the positive.

It works for Falkie.

Why would Art care about the haters calling in on Open Lines? He knows those pussys don't have the balls to call in. They failed to do so on the gabcast.

He's more likely to get praise from his cheer squad which I imagine would be more off putting for him.

what choice?

Maybe:

You're right. I think most of these people constantly ripping on Art via the internet would shrivel if they had him on the line.

That's either the best Bart Simpson excuse for not doing your BellGab homework I've heard or you really have been busy. Hope you have a bit more fun during the convalescing than you've had so far. We'll be here (just as long as the server doesn't disappear, as it seems to do every once in a while).

And now, I will sing you a bit of "People, people who need people, are the lu-u-k-k-iest people in the world..." Just be glad you didn't hear my singing voice.

That is FANTASTIC, thanks VoP!!!

I wish I were wrong but I think I must agree with the KoK....

I wonder if Heather's ratings skyrocket every night for the first 3 minutes with all the folks tuning in hoping that Art will make an appearance? :D

I'd like to bet money on that! I know I have tuned in four nights in a row to hear that voice (when I haven't tuned in at all the past few months), only to be mildly disappointed, lol.

You are right.  So if you want him on, vote "no."  If you don't want him on, vote "yes."  If you don't care, just go to sleep.  Works for me.

It's like setting around, wating for the phone to ring, thinking it might be that hot date.  Instead, it's your mother.

I worry that he'll just be a caller on open lines. It would be nice to hear him because damn can he talk, but that would suck kind of.

That would be very disappointing.  It'd be like when he called in on HW's first night to help her out.

Knowing how low he can sink that is probably what he will do if he comes on at all.
He will probably call in and dangle the carrot about him doing some actual hosting sometime in the future to "test the waters" and mightly shortly explain the bullshit stalker story again.

Yeah, and the difference between the two was so apparent when that happened.

Yes.  It just makes a bad situation worse.  I think I'd rather listen to Art call into Noory.  At least he could prank him and give everybody some laughs.

The biggest difference between Heather and Falkie? Heather isn't afraid of work. We may argue over the quality of mitd, but at least she shows up every night.

Indeed Heather deserves a lot of respect for the work she puts in.   And her willingness to step into an impossible situation.  That is her saving grace and I believe over time she will improve her skills because of it.

However I wouldn't say Noory doesn't work hard.  Even if you disagree, at the very least you have to admit Noory paid his dues years before he even started hosting Coast to Coast.  He didn't start his career hosting a national radio show.  Rather he worked his way up.

I don't think it's a bullshit story but I've been told I'm naive more than once.

Somebody's using double reverse psychology here.  WHO IS IT?!
