George had a fill in guest on one time named Richard Syrett.  At the time, he had a radio show in Canada, probably still does. 

He did a great job, which is likely the reason he was never invited back, Dave being a frightened d-bag and all.

A possible choice to help fill the other 3 nights a week on Art's show.

Richard Syrett has been brought up favorably in this Forum before.  I remember the one time he hosted Coast years ago, and how impressed I was. That being my entire knowledge of the man, he had to be good or he would have escaped my memory long ago.

Holy cats!    Someone actually gifted me with a Kindle Fire today just so I'd have more ways of listening to Art's new show.   I practically floated home tonight, thinking this has been one of the best weeks ever.  Logged into BellGab, looked up in the right hand corner, and damn near passed out.  MV, you've just capped off my week in epic fashion.  Holy cats.

I took a look back a few pages and can't seem to see the posted comment and having said that , I am not going to listen to 4 hr of George to hear what he said .

Can you do a recap of what George said when asked if he was going to go on Arts new show , lol I am sure it was good whatever he said lol ?

Nice!  I recently went from an older Kindle Fire to the Kindle Fire HD 8.9", and I love it.  Use it all day for streaming radio, podcasts, Netflix, YouTube, reading, etc.

I have one, and it runs everything I throw at it extremely well, including some of the most demanding games on the Google Play store (40+fps on epic citadel at 720p).  They have strong development communities so the roms are constantly being improved.  You can even hook up a keyboard and mouse, and have a really viable pc to do whatever with.  There are also ubuntu ports for these sticks in the works, to make them even more capable.

I'll test the SiriusXM app soon and report back.

A coastgab member managed to get thru during the first hour with a fake voice and name, and asked Noory if he would be a guest on Art Bell's new show.
Noory immediately answered loudly "NO, ABSOLUTLEY NOT" and then said in a weaker voice "unless he asked me..."

doubtful, since Noory got a new long, long term contract with PremRat a month ago.
terrestrial free radio doesn't really compete with pay satellite radio anyway, they don't compare them in terms of ratings, just against other regular broadcast station programs in the same market.

When Art first announced that it was going to be satellite radio, I confess that I was disappointed. After having time to reflect and adjust, I see all the benefits of his choice, both on his end and mine. He will be uncensored, free to go where the show leads, and I will not have to stay up all night! I have already begun letting go of C2C.
