So it's kind of like the two Darrens on Bewitched.  Was the JC in the 'Shatner is a Canadian Spy' bit linked recently on Artbell.com the original?  I knew JC's schtick was getting pretty lame but I didn't clue into it being a different guy.

And I believe there has only ever been one JC. You will read my evidence for why in that post. Incidentally, I believe he's now on the C2C payroll. But I don't put it past him to call Art's new show anyway.

pretty easy to hear the difference if you play an old recording of JC with Art in the mid 90s vs JC calling Noory a few years ago.

I always had a secret suspicion that JC was Phil Hendrie but I wouldn't think that he would call in to Dave's shows.  I guess two JCs would explain that problem with my theory.

Was listening to an early -- '95-ish -- SIT open lines show last night and a caller named "Captain Democrat" called in and sounded a LOT like JC ... just not as radical and hyped up but his voice tone sounded VERY similar - like it could he could have later morphed into the JC character??

Whilst it's absolutely hilarious I think that if we stop calling him George Noory then over time this site will not be able to be found by new people putting George Noory Sucks into Google.

That's been my theory. There are some really old shows with a few 'regulars' who I have no idea who they are and there aren't a lot of MP3's out there to be able to hear enough to get a handle on those people. Captain Democrat was an annoying put on, and I've wondered if he was JC.

So here is our first insight into George's maturity level with Art coming back.  They are not competing head to head, but he says absolutely no!  Not very professional of him.  He should be gracious and honored if asked to be on Art's show (not that I want him to be) as he would be considered a colleague of Art's.  But no, he stomps his little Hush Puppies, turns purple, and says "NO".

Hearing it live, I got the sense that the question pissed him off and he gave an immediate "No, absolutely not" and then dialed it back with the not unless he invites me.

My comcast internet is down at home, so I'm sitting here in McDondald's parking lot, glomming onto their wifi. First time I've listened to Dave for more than 5 minutes in over a year. Forgot about how annoyingly faux maudlin he is. How people think he's sincere is beyond me.

"Find" yourself a copy of Adobe Audition or Cool Edit. Should be easy enough to come by. From there, it's just a matter of looking at the waveform & snipping out ol' Mush Mouth.
