I didn't listen to C2C on the radio last night. But I did tune in to an internet radio site airing Art Bell's old shows. The shows topics were "Dates from Hell' and "Area 51 employee line". Very entertaining shows last night, Good Job Art.

HOLY SWEET VIRGIN MANICOTTI MOTHER OF THE GREAT FLYNG SPAGHETTI MONSTER, WTF was up with the second-hour guest from last night?!  Thomas Hackney was a whole new level of crazy!

(And yes, I scrolled back two pages in this thread to see y'all's comments, but ... wow.)

Thank your lucky stars.  If I could have found my ball peen hammer, I would have preferred beating my self senseless while doing some self-dentistry with my Dremel tool.

Last night made me scratch my head, and wonder how it has gotten to this low of a point, in Coast to Coast history.  I fondly remember Art hosting, and being captivated for an entire 5 hours....and WANTING MORE!  Yes, MORE!  Good Lord, some of those shows were gold!  NOW....well, do I really need to even explain?

Of all the radio hosts in America, this is the best Premiere can do???  They can't find one guy that can interview with a passion and knowledge??  I don't know how George even sniffed the guest host duties back in the day, let alone getting the keys to the whole show!  In general, this show is now garbage.  A few guests still interest me, but it's not from anything George is doing.  Art brought out the best in his guests.  George leave so much untapped, in his guests.  So often, I'll listen, and the guest says something that should be expounded on, and George just goes off in another direction, like he was not even listening.

I miss Art Bell.  I really miss Art Bell....sigh.

Immy

I just checked out the Goyem TV site, and the tagline for Jorch's show is "Interviews from the Edges of Reality." LOL
Did someone from CoastGab come up with that?? It's rife with possible substitutes for that last word: Sanity, Credibility, Professionalism, etc.

I wanna see Charo and Suzanne Somers as guests on Georgie's new teluvishun show. I wanna see Purina Dog Chow as the offishal shponsher, with Georgie doing on-air commershals for Purina. I wanna see Georgie begin each show by singing a song for his live shtoodio audiensh...with lots of closhe-upsh of Georgie as he croons and swoons like Sinatra. I wanna see Linda Moulton-Howe come on, and she and Georgie do an on-air cooking segment...she'll make Beef Wellington, and Georgie will ask her, as she prepares the dish, "Linda, I gotta ask you this. Is this beef from an unexshplained mutilated cow, mutilated by aliens?" She'll reply, "Well, George, the beef was slaughtered and cut in Alberta, Canada, so yes, it's been mutilated by aliens." At that point, Tommy will hold up a huge "LAUGH!" sign at the shtoodio audiensh.
For dessert, Linda will prepare - on-air - her deep fried sugar and honey "crop circles".

Oh Jasmine!  You won my heart with this one!  I laughed til I cried. Thank you!

I wanted to write something about tomorrow for the benefit of all the guests that cruise through here. I'm sure most of the members have figured out Dec. 21st, 2012 is a scam. As an astrologer with 22 years of study under my belt, I can assure everyone that there are no special planetary alignments tomorrow. Yes, due to the procession of the equinoxes the sun is aligned with the Galactic Center... just as it was last year on the solstice. This has been going on for many years, and will continue to do so. It is an extremely gradual transit. It can not be pinned to a year, let alone a day. Anyone can check this in an Ephemeris for the 21st Century, if it has the monthly position for Galactic Center. Each sign of the Zodiac has 30 degrees, and each degree is divided into 60 minutes. Right now Galactic Center is at 27. 01.8 of Sagittarius. On December 21st, 2050 (38 years from now) Galactic Center will have moved about 32 minutes, roughly one half of one degree. This is miniscule. We are talking Chaldean/Sumerian astrology here, not meso-American astrology. It has no direct connection to the Mayans. My husband is a Mayan from Guatemala. Even the Mayans themselves do not know where the end date of their calendar falls in the Gregorian (our) Calendar - just that it's soon. You've been had, folks. The Esalen Institute in California invented December 21st, 2012 as the end date of the Mayan Calendar more than 40 years ago. I find it sad that the reason people are so easily fooled is that they are too lazy to do some simple fact checking, which is so easy now that we have the Internet.

You have to wonder: Why would they put so much effort, over so many years, to convince everyone that Dec. 21st, 2012 is the end date of the Mayan Calendar - when it is not, and that there is a special planetary alignment on that date - when there is not? Even to the point of devoting an entire episode of IN SEARCH OF to this topic in the 1970's, and suggesting it as a possible end of the world date in 1994 in the NBC special ANCIENT PROPHECIES. Perhaps they have a major False Flag planned for some time in the next couple of weeks. I guess we'll know soon enough. Shame on Jorch for relentlessly pushing this scam for the last ten years (and Art Bell before him). I'm sure they were just doing what they were told to do, but it does not relieve them of personal responsibility. to my knowledge, Knapp has never mentioned this date, and if he has, he certainly has not harped on it.

About the second guest last night: Snoory can not do an interview unless the guest leads him. When the guest is confused and leaps from topic to topic (as the guest did last night) it totally throws him. When this happens, Snoory will ALWAYS end the interview early and go to open lines. Then he always attempts to convince us that open lines were planned at the end of the show, when they were not. When open lines are planned, he ALWAYS says at the beginning: "Later, our special open lines!"

+1.  I've never understood how Noory got hired...I assume Bell got over-ruled by mgmt because Noory was met the minimum requirements and was cheap. Bell had developed a stable of solid regulars that he kept fresh and varied like an attentive grocer; dropping some, adding new ones as warranted.  Noory's insipidness has run them off or worn out their material, and he can't attract new ones of merit. He can collect only the low hanging fruit; new agers, "alternate" (quack) medicine, fringe rightwingers.  Hoagland hasn't been interesting in ten years. Quayle turned fundie/rightwinger, I recall Bell stating he wouldn't let Alex Jones on the show after he turned "truther".  Graham Nash hardly ever comes back. Noory doesn't care. He has no interest in the subjects. He asks the guests the same vapid, almost generic questions as if from a long dog-eared cue card.  He gives me the impression that he really thinks he's of Bell's stature. He's in it for George. The show's been hollowed out and its structure is cracking, and he seems oblivious.  It would be interesting to see Noory's Arbitron ratings; my guess is that their a fraction of Bell's.  I think Premiere wants the time slot to evolve into nighttime fringe right radio. The true crank stuff of Alex Jones and Quayle and now Wells. Its a market that's growing and C2C has a lock on the timeslot provided they don't boil the frog to fast.

I was listening to C2C and paused it to come on here to see what was being said about the, "HOLY SWEET VIRGIN MANICOTTI MOTHER OF THE GREAT FLYNG SPAGHETTI MONSTER,"  guest tonight.  Wowser.  A new low.  George is squirming in his seat.  Love it when he squirms.  By the way, looked at the video of George, the face lifted-rug wearing-purple tied-botoxed-expresionless, host with NO persoanality.  Loved it.  So bad it will fail.......and then how will humble little Gorge be able to donate all that money, ifcertainsubcriptionnumbershavebeenmet, to listeners??? He is loathsome. Wells too.

Don't think I didn't notice your avatar ghost...I'm sorry if you live in Cali...learn to swim I guess? Vicariously I live while the whole world dies.

I am trying to watch 'Beyond Belief' but there is something about actually watching George talk that is having a strange psychological effect on me.

I am having trouble believing this Beyond Belief is even real. It is so awkward to see George the Robot up there saying and doing the things he does, with the hand gestures and butchering of words and phrases, that I would more easily believe this is a video created by a very talented coastgabber than an actual recording of George trying to do something.

I do not believe George Noory is a real person. He can't be.

I would blame these paranoid delusions on being high. For those of you who've used drugs you know what is like to question the reality or existence of things. Problem is, I'm not high.

What kind of being would be present in the studio audience for the taping of this? Certainly not one whose brain isn't under the influence of some powerful psychedelic. Maybe an android or manekin.

You might call it 'not taking George seriously, what with all the making fun of him that we do on here' but it goes far beyond that. It's more like when the boulder is coming at you on the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. You know it's not real but you still flinch or maybe seize up in terror when you see it coming.

Please join the Coast Insider's Club.  Please?  Please send us 15 cents a day.  Please?  We lost our Chicago radio station and we need that 15 cents a day. Please?  We used to have five million listeners and now the Huffington Post says we only have three million.  And John's water filtration systems and radiation detectors aren't selling that well.  And pizza rolls are getting expensive.  Please send us 15 cents a day.  Please?  Send us 15 cents a day and you can have 24-hour access to a radio show that isn't worth listening to for free.  Please?  Please?  Aw, c'mon, it's only 15 cents a day.  C'mon.  Please?

And if you still can't get enough of Snorge and want to waste even more money, you can throw $10 into his pocket every month to watch him on his new internet TV show -- Beyond Bee Leaf-- as he sits behind a desk asking the same questions to the same guests regarding the same topics that you can listen to for free on Art's radio show, C2C. (It will never be Snorge's show as far as I'm concerned! BAH!)

George coined a new another word - introducing his guest by saying 'let's welkhim' at the 1 min mark.

Ha, I missed that one, but he said it clear as day.

"Let's welk him"

December 24th -  Santa Claus joins George in the first hour, followed by Christmas Eve Open Lines.   Doesnt he realize that the majority of his audience are adults?

Yeah, NW was the station I mentioned last night that had the Ian repeat on. They had jazz music or something the first hour and then aired the repeat from 2pm onwards. I wonder if it will happen again tonight?

Not sure, but Noory must think his audience has the mental age of children though.
Noory is turning the show into his own kid's show, with him playing the part of Captain Kangaroo...  :P

NoMoreNoory

He is absolutely incapable of getting through a sentence without stumbling, bumbling, tripping or butchering. While attempting  to give the current cat lady a web site plug, he completely bungled dot com.          Yeah, but they are only adults chronologically. Mentally and emotionally...not so much.

There was a weird call early on where the guy was talking about his different colored "auroras" which had me laughing.  I just thought this guy was a total idiot but now I'm thinking maybe this was one of those callers??  anybody catch that...? the caller said "aurora" like a hundred times... you'd think if he was really into that crap some new age carpet muncher would have corrected him somewhere along the line?

I thought all the different faces were lousy photoshop jobs.  Turns out George apparently has so many hair dyes and makeup tricks, it's difficult to know what he looks like.  I wish he'd pick a 'look' and stick with it.  Then again, I don't think he's found it yet.

In this video he looks like he's about 4 feet tall and barely holding up that suit.   He once said, with a knowing chortle, that he never listens to his past shows.  I wonder if he watches himself afterward on these TV things.
