It would be like ... well hell, I'll come back when I have a decent analogy. I'm tired.

It would be like ... watching a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

Has George been around here lately? I kind of miss him.

GEORGE???

Am I the only one who kind of secretly wants Art to have him as a guest?

Probably.  ;)

George is busy slaying all the quality poon that paranormal date brings him.   Naked ouiji and bareback seances.

For the record, I have NOT been in any chat room since I logged into Gabcast one evening and was immediately told by someone to go away.
And I have had NO contact with Big Shits, the man who reveals private phone numbers to convicted sex offenders.
I did try to call Art's show on the test night & was out of town last night and was barely able to hear  show on 1180 AM on the radio in our car.

The Falkie in chat had good reading comprehension and was somewhat pleasant.

That UFO Phil standard would be the perfect intro music for Coast.  I don't know why they haven't been using it all along.  'Course they'd probably have to get something else to close the week, but that shouldn't be a problem

I disagree, the opening theme needs to be an upbeat instrumental without lyrics that Noory can talk over.

UFO Phil's "Listening to Coast To Coast" is Noory's version of "Midnight in the Desert," best suited to CLOSE the show each night.

I've found a preview of an instrumental album on YouTube from which I'm sure Noory could find the perfect opening to fit the theme, mood and relative level of intelligence of, I'd dare say, any show he could possibly imagine.

Noory butchered standard English usage so terribly last night that I thought he had a stroke.

His interview with Paulides, compared to Knapp's,  is like comparing little league baseball to the pros.

And.....HE KEPT INTERRUPTING!   He is so damned focused on WHAT OR WHO is doing this rather than just letting Paulides share the stories of those who have vanished.

GEORGE, GET OUT OF THE WAY.   :P

The men in the Memphis area on ParanormalDate are ... paranormal themselves.

And yes, I checked them out.

Has anyone posted that Dave will be on the mallard report??

Stumble-bum Norry was at it again with Paulides last night. It was torture listening to him try to form a question. Paulides was as usual ok but the same stories, basically. I was hoping Norry would ask some stuff about college and minor league hockey since Paulides mentioned his son played several times but Norry sticks to the 3x5 cards and doesn't seem to have an interest in making a conversation. Luckily we can Art to listen too now! And even RCH's show was funny, especially with the tech issues.

Quayle on tonight.  :o I thought there was some radio show or youtube where he said he wasn't going on C2C any more and focusing on other stuff like his ministry etc. I guess paralegals made him an offer he can't refuse.

Dateline

I would never play in the minor leagues by searching through ParanormalDate.com.

boxman

So I am guessing he did not mention the fact that Art is back on the air?

Izintit?

Don`t be too hard on yourself.  My aunt in Gatorcrotch, Fla. had no luck with ParabnormalDate. com either. She did mention that about eight of the dudes had a suspicious resemblance to Jorch, though.

Noory is such a POS. This is what he wrote at the C2C FB page:

GN: Wow in North America, we are now at 615 radio affiliates-- this is HUGE.

Yeah, Snors. It helps when Art gets you the first 500 affiliates and Rush gets you the next 115. I wish I could post this but unfortunately, I have been banned from posting on the C2C page. I guess they didn't take kindly to all the information on Art's new show that I constantly posted.  >:(

Sorry Snuffy, but the game is changing, radio listeners have little portable radios in their phones now and they are listening to much larger broadcasting pool than before.  Art and Dark Matter Digital Network are among the new internet radio networks paving the way for the future!!

Combine that with a talent like Art with loyal listeners and you've got a problem!!!

Art was also the most listened to talk show on talkstreamlive last night. Even right now, 4 1/2 hours before showtime, DMDN is getting bigger numbers than Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham & Alex Jones.

I couldn't stand listening to Dave to find out but since Knapp didn't on Sunday, I doubt Dave said anything.

Art is such a refreshing change.  He has excellent timing, knows when to ask a GOOD question and when not to.  Dave is a clown.

Keep spinning the crap, Noory.  Maybe you can keep fooling yourself.

GravitySucks

Glad I no longer have a reason to listen to C2C. I quit the insider when JBW left.  I got sick and tired of listening to George always promoting his outside ventures... The book, the videos, and then paranormal date pushed me over the edge.  Now that Art is on, I will only listen if Knapp is hosting.

I do have one positive George story though, but it is from long, long ago in a universe far, far away.

When he first took over for Art, he promoted an organization called Children International.  I sponsored a boy from India and a girl from Colombia.  The boy turned 19 last year and the girl turns 19 in August so I will probably never hear from them again, but for the better part of 10 years I got frequent letters of gratitude and pictures of them growing up.  So, at least for awhile in George's span at C2C he made a positive difference.

I lost several jobs during the last 10 years, but always found a way to keep those kids sponsored.  Sometimes that was the only thing keeping me going.

But, as the thread says... George Noory sucks.... Now anyways.

GS, that is such a great thing that you did! There should be more people in the world like you!

Ah, that brings back memories of Mahreetzah (Maritza) or however snorry used to pronounce her name. He always seems like such an affected turd when he pronounces foreign names. Maritza was Noory's "sponsored" child. Uh huh. Cause when I think "the milk of human kindness", I think of Noory.

I'd like it too, and I'd like the first question from Art to George to be: "So, George what are you doing now that Coast to Coast has been cancelled?"

I checked that charity out with Charity Navigator and it seems ok.  There had been a scandal, years back in which the same children and progress reports had been given to a lot of people who thought they were supporting a child.  I have a suspicious mind.

Good for you, to help others.

Not sure he would have done any better with Samrat and Yuvelis 😎

Me too, but I have written the kids letters every year and always got reponses to my questions from them that made me confident that they weren't just generic letters.  It was pretty humbling to get letters from them when I would send them extra money for their birthdays. One time the boy from India used the money to buy screens for their windows to help keep the bugs out.  The girl from Ccolombia actually completed dental hygienist school and hopes to be a dentist someday.

That's wonderful.  I wonder if you can ever meet them?

You make me realize that I'm such a curmudgeon.

I worked with an Indian fellow who sent money to India each month.  It must have been a lot as he supported an entire school.  He'd visit every now and again and his relatives who still lived there would drop in.

Noory just told a hilarious lie on the interview he is doing right now. He said Art Bell and him were duplicating guests so he interviewed Oates. Last I checked, Oates was on right before DM began.

Also, he is talking about guest space between appearances. I guess he doesnt realize that by this time next year, c2c won't be the premier late night show anymore.

Noory is doing nothing except lying his corpulent ass off. Why is he even being given a platform to tell more lies?

Now he's flogging his pathetic "dating" site.

Well, I'm out. I can't stomach any more of this interview. Fortunately, Dr J is on in a few and then Art after him.  :D
