George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No
How did Jorch decide that "Can these conspiracies be predicted?" was an intelligent question?

Unless you're a mind reader how exactly would you do that?

Bleefy

This poor woman called in to say that she's unable to read any of these books since they're not available to the visually impaired. Jorch mumbles "Yeah, I know how you feel."

How do you know how it feels, Jorch? How? How could you possibly know this, you freaking fartcake. Go to hell.

Truthers fail to realize steal will lose half of its strength well before reaching melting point, and building 7 had a 10 (make that 18) story chunk taken out of it before it fell. Noory's bullshit is tiring... and any media person who lets his guests  go without questions is a failure.

You are correct, sir.  I was yelling the same thing at my computer when I heard him say "melt." And what was sNoory's "newsman" reaction to this misinformation? NOT A DAMN THING. How does sNoory look in the mirror and like what he sees staring back at him? I think that skull critter of his has assumed control of his "brain."

Thanks. I've been lurking here long enough, so I hope so.

Why is this angry blind woman telling her doctor about Bill Clinton flying somewhere with a "convicted pedophile"? Doesn't he have other patients to get to? Also, she CAN email the publisher requesting audiobooks etc by using one of many text to speech software. She just to whine to Noory.

Jorch is not visually impaired, he just can’t read.

He just won't read because he is so lazy.

"Amazing things happen on this planet, Donald . . . all the time."

Jorch sure knows how to fashion the great thoughts.

He'd give Curley of The Three Stooges a run for his money.

"Amazin' things are soitenly happenin.'"

George has trouble reading too.  Possibly dyslexic?

Nick el Ass

The guest called just said Nancy Pelosly. It is nice to see Jorch's lack of skill when it comes to talking is effecting his guest now.

Nope he's already made it through several Archie's comics this year no problem.

I've wondered about that myself -- based on his writings here and some recent tweets.

He seems to be an audio-oriented personality, and most dyslexics need to be that way to succeed.  A lot of what Jorch produces looks like he's trying more to emulate spoken speech rather than write sentences.  I'm no expert, but his odd constructions seem to point to a deficiency of some kind.  Of course, it could just be that he's too lazy to use the brain the he has.

BattyBrooke

Speech to text. You knew what I meant. It's the same shit.

Another piece of evidence is that when a guest brings up a book reference Noory only relates to it if he's seen the movie.  Some months ago he had an expert in gothic/victorian literature and clearly had no idea what the guy was talking about except as it related to the Frankenstein or Sherlock Holmes movies.

We need to translate the entire GNS thread the other way, text-to-speech, and beam it out to space.  Just to freak out the aliens.

Nice analysis  :)

Good point, Zeeb.

Jorch always says his all-time favorite book is the Bible, which is what I'd say too if I were dyslexic.  Hell, it's mostly unreadable to everybody.

But, you're right. Jorch would discuss movie versions of the Bible ("Noah," "The Ten Commandments," etc.) before he'd discuss any specific chapter of it.

goldendeal

Jorch "what an amazing story"

What story you son-of- a bitch? It’s been confirmed as false.

Nice new avatar.

Goofy, yet creepily unendearing.

Pretty much what I was going for.  Actually I was just following Eddie Coyle's Dunkin Donuts theme.

You wouldn't like the new ones, Archie's holed up in a crack-house, Veronica's a hoarder, Betty & Jughead started their own home shopping network.  It's just not the same.

As I remember, on that show I mentioned, when the guest talked about Dickens, all Noory could offer was "Oliver!  That was a great musical - and they made a pretty nice movie out of it too."

Bleefy

Did Jorch just say "Abbey Rose" in earnest?

That's it. Fuck this. I'm done for the night.

He sure did.

Jorch  "what about this #9 business?  That's the thing with backwards "messages". It could be anything, but sometimes it sound more and more like something special"

Richard Belzer sounds different and less interesting than I remember.  The only reason I hung in the first two hours is because I thought he would be on.
