Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No
George just said something about JFK being active in the bedoir.  What the hell is a bedoir?  Is it something you would find in a boudoir?

George called LHO... Lee Harvey Osweil. He didn't even attempt to correct himself either.  Wait until George meets up with his mistress at the upcoming convention in November in Toronto. George "Hey, baby can I come to your bedoir there is a turkey sammich in it for you?"

You just gave Noory a line to use on LMH tonight when he hits on her during commercials.

Fuck, the FCC should crack down on this shit.

isn't it illegal to give people dangerous medical advice?
I haven't heard the show (will likely listening when I'm mowing the lawn this evening. The sound of the motor drowns out the show.)
But bleach is a very good thing to have on hand in cases of emergency. For sanitizing things and decontaminating water. Here is the CDC advice on how to decontaminate water in an emergency. Obviously (hopefully too all) one does not drink straight bleach!!
http://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/emergency/safe_water/personal.html
"To disinfect water,

Filter it through a clean cloth, paper towel, or coffee filter OR allow it to settle.
    Draw off the clear water.
To use bleach, add 1/8 teaspoon (or 8 drops; about 0.625 milliliters) of unscented liquid household chlorine (5-6%) bleach for each gallon of clear water (or 2 drops of bleach for each liter or each quart of water),
        Stir the mixture well.
Let it stand for 30 minutes or longer before you use it.
Store the disinfected water in clean sanitized containers with tight covers.
To use iodine, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Chlorine dioxide tablets are another disinfectant that now is available in some outdoor stores. This disinfectant has proven to be effective against pathogens, including Cryptosporidium, if the manufacturer’s instructions are followed."

disinfect and decontaminate are 2 different things. disinfect means to kill microbes, parasites and other pathogens. decontaminate means to remove contamination, which can be a (radioactive) mineral or microbes. filtration is your best bet here.

ex : water can be contaminated with arsenic. bleach will not remove or neutralize arsenic.
water can can also be contaminated with cholera. bleach will neutralize cholera (by killing the microbes) . this would be disinfecting .
water cna be contaminated with both arsenic and cholera. bleach will kill the cholera, but the arsenic will still kill you.

Yeah, the site is pretty clear that heavy metals, fuels, etc won't be cleaned by bleach. But, usually, the initial problem is the organic elements with standing or water mixed in with sewage system. There also is a way using a plastic PET bottle to use sunlight to accomplish (again won't get rid of fuels, metals, etc.) I used to work in a factory where we cleaned our arms etc with bleach. It worked but not pleasant. Then, again, I used to use kerosene or mineral spirits to wash off paint as a kid with my grandpa. Not sure either is government approved. But works. (Soap and water off later of course.)

If only George had been talking about disinfecting water...

A person can live quite well on turmeric flavored chlorine and gas station sandwiches, but I carry a hip flask of hydrogen peroxide just to be on the safe side

LMH shows are like the dish with the least spam in it .... Jorch being the spam.

Why is Jorch always playing The Smiths-How Soon is Now as bumper music? Is that his theme song? "I am human and I need to be loved, just like everybody else does!". Jorch should sing that at his next karaoke night, instead of I Can't Help Falling In Love With You. His longtime companion Tommy must have hipped him to that Smiths song.

I've long been an LMH fan, and although some denounce her somewhat montone style, I in fact find it to be relaxing and even compelling, and sometimes, in combination with the proper cognac, will lead me into a pleasant semi-hypnotic state.

Ha! Caught Joorch trying to say 'catechism' and coming up with 'cataclysm'. He had a few goes, couldn't get it. Pathetic. Mind you, these long words can be tricky, can't they? Positively manevol.....mavelonent....malenovent.....oh, never mind.

I caught that too.  I posted it but then wasn't sure if I heard it right so took it down.

I posted in response to your post, then your post disappeared, which meant my my post made no sense without your post and had to modify my post! Confused? You will be.....

Meanwhile Joorch says 'One of my favorite pastimes is deciphering Genesis' Sure it is, Joorchie.

LMH up next: cue creepy, flirty bumper music....

I'm not sure he will ever top "Mick Villain" when he was trying to pronounce Machiavellian.

Anyhow, LMH is on tonight so that means George gets to read bellgab for a couple of hours tonight. Hi George.

I have the perfect role for George's big break into movies.  The role of Lenny in a new Production Of Mice And Men. He can bring to the production what no other performer has been able to.  True Stupidity.

Here we go with a report based on questionable data from NASA and NOAA. They don't want to lose their govt. funding.  What about the report from Nature that west coast warming can be attributed to changing wind patterns not carbon dioxide?  And what about the fact that there has been no global warming in 18 years?

However, I would agree with Linda regarding the rainforest.  Too much land is being cleared off but what would Linda have us do? Tell Brazil that they can't develop any more land.  LOL.  Like that's really going to stop them.  I don't know what the answer is.

I'll agree to disagree rather than getting into another debate :P

Linda.  talks. Like. A. Robot.

And "Conversations with Linda" is the dumbest title for her appearences. I remember when Yorge came up with that idea. I cringe every time he says it.

Yeah, I can dig that.  We must stay focused on the suckage of Noory and leave our opinions on other matters to the political thread.  Sorry for the brief digression.
