Merle and Mozart are the only recording artists whose music makes up over 50+ cds, all of it worth listening to.

Only one is still alive to collect royalties though...

Not to dis the O'Jays original but here's one:

I just walked into the other room where the "Nooory" station was on an still heard the baby-talk Irish accent, I assume it is still going on about NDEs and linking it to heart patient (&c) near misses, anyhow, any type of oxygen starvation to the brain issue one might have, and does not that deserve some sort of loooooooking into?

There are stories, I have some!

Something aboot a heart attack patient who survived...  I have lotsa stoooories....  Any proof behyound belief?

Pshaw...

In any case, I changed that other room's radio station to a local pop station...

Good, muah-hah-hah-ha!

I didnt listen to that much of the show last night, though unfortunately I did hear the cell phone porta-potty story. I don't know what kind if story he was looking for, but probably things like cell phones ringing at inappropriate times and places.
I didnt hear the bacon exchange but suspect that George may be on some kind of low-carb diet, paleo, or something. Theyre very fashionable now. Bacon wouldn't technically be paleo because cave men wouldn't have had cured meats, but people fudge a little, and there are other low carb diets that I think do include a lot of bacon.

In all likelihood GN is not doing any of the following diets: Atkins, Pritikin, Paleo, Primal, Low-Carb, or High Fat.  GN admittedly takes a shite pile of dietary supplements each day--TOOOOmeric based of course.  He may be even be trending towards frigging Dogpile Old MacDoogal crap starch diet or Mediterranean.  Whatever "DIET" it ain't paleo 'cause I'm doing Paleo/Primal-LCHF also based on what GN is shoving in his pie hole like flaming pizza rolls and turdkey samitches.  I don't eat any of that processed KRAP and certainly no wheat, but I do love bacon a couple times a week!

BTW Paleo/Primal is a lifestyle not a religion, as cavemen, we must adjust as need to the real world around us.  Bacon is only one of the many...looking at your screen right now is another.

Jorch: What did you see?
Guest: A ghost
Jorch: I thought you said you didn't believe in them
Guest: I uh uh uhhhhhh... experienced it. i don't believe in them, but i saw them. i wouldn't say i believe in them. i experienced them. i saw them, but i don't believe.
Jorch: the fact that you saw them does that mean they exist in your mind?
Guest: yeah under certain circumstances yes
Jorch: ok  :-\
I understood when the guest said he didn't believe in ghosts. He was actually saying he doesn't put his faith in ghosts, but George didn't seem to comprehend.

I was waiting for him to explain he believes seeing ghosts is some sort of psychological phenomenon. Something like pareidolia, which is where people think they see faces in patterns or think they're hearing secret messages in songs. This happens because the human brain has a tendency to seek out patterns in random things. But as Jorch said he got "muffed" and couldn't get his thoughts out.

The error-prone Mike Bara (who, btw, was Noory's guest on Beyond Bleeph yesterday) has written that pareidolia doesn't exist. The word, he says, was invented by "some douchebag skeptic." Mike is not really insane, just very, very wrong about almost everything.

Good catch, that would have been an interesting thing to hear.
My favorite pareidolia is Jesus in the Tortilla.

MV/Liberace!

Last week, as a result of a DMCA notice sent to my web hosting provider, I removed an embedded YouTube video of George's Beyond Belief show which was posted by a user.  Today, Gaiam TV has sent ANOTHER DMCA notice about the SAME VIDEO which was REMOVED DAYS AGO to my private domain name registrar.  As a result, GoDaddy has billed me $50 to "process" this "legal inquiry".  These idiots (Gaiam) have now cost me money through their abuse of the DMCA process.  As I stated earlier, the YouTube terms of service state:

Quote
You also hereby grant each user of the Service a non-exclusive license to access your Content through the Service, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such Content as permitted through the functionality of the Service and under these Terms of Service.

Since Gaiam THEMSELVES uploaded the video to YouTube and they've chosen to allow embedding, we have a license to embed the video... but last week I REMOVED IT ANYWAY, just to get this out of my hair.  A lot of good it did me.  I think it would be really great if there were an attorney using this forum who might be willing to make these people go away.  At this point, it's harassment.

maybe george noory will offer to pay you back, out of the kindness of his heart. you know like he offered to buy flakie some new glasses. but i wouldnt hold out for that. people volunteer better if forced to. perhaps a stern letter from an attorney demanding the $50 back + lawyers fees will get some attn.

Clearly they wanted the video removed from BellGab.com because they did not like what was being said about it.  This is entirely a free speech issue and an absolute abuse of the DMCA process.  To my understanding, it is illegal to send out a DMCA notice if you don't have the legal right to demand the removal of the content in question.  In this case, they do not have the right to demand it due to the license granted by the YT terms of service, but whatever.  That apparently is of no concern to them.

well then ,i  george noory sucks more than we had thought possible. perhaps a takedown request sent to youtube for violation of youtube policies is in order.

MV, it would be to your benefit if you do get a lawyer to contact them, explain exactly what you've said here, and hopefully scare them a little bit.  Use their own bullshit tactics against them.  And hell, if I were you I'd send them an invoice for the fifty bucks.  Not that you'd ever see it, but it's funny at the very least, and a great fuck you.

What would have happened if you didn't pay that fee?  Were you automatically billed?  Would your hosting have been terminated had you not paid it?  Your domain revoked?  What?

I'm sure if jorch knew what was goeeeen ahhhn he'd set this whole thing straight.  Jorch loves bellgab... and he's even gotten along great with MV in the past.  I don't see why these guys can't just patch things up?  Please don't ban jorch from the forum.

I just spent all this time writing out a thoughtful PM to MV, only to find that I can't send him PM's.

Sooo MV.... contact me, I'd be happy to discuss your troubles, though I really only do criminal law... I might have some colleagues who know a thing or two about that area of law.

Surpised noory never tried to sue over that video of him falling on the side walk over a puddle. George truly sucks even his fake TV show is bringing it's own kind of suckage to this fourm. Are we to assume those giam people are monitoring this site?

Wow, what a scam, seems like there should be a way around that...

I don't know if this applies, maybe you could e-mail them this article:

GoDaddy is an all around sketchy company anyway.  I would advise people away from them.

If a few more people also do this, we can help support MV against these assholes.
