At this point I can't remember who she was except that she was a cute busty brunette. I had a number of copies of her appearance autographed but so much of my stuff burned up in a fire in 1977.

Its driving me crazy that I can't recall her name. I'm going to have to go through Playboys and see who jogs my memory. I remember some playmate names but it has been 45 years after all.

The other thing she told me she would is " cure " my virginity problem once I got old enough too.

I would have tattooed that on my forehead. I still remember my first brush with Miss Robinson. She was twenty, and I was sixteen. She was a cute and sweet Latina. I got the old "if you were older" routine, but I was very flattered, nevertheless. She wasn't a model or a movie star, let alone a Playboy Playmate. She favored a pretty actress on an old TV show, though. I still remember her first and last name, her address, her parents' names, her siblings' names, her school, her workplace, what she wore when she flirted with me, etc.. You must have lived a more exciting life out west. I spent my adolescence in the Midwest, so when a "cougar" complimented you, you didn't forget it. By the way, you mentioned that you were comped at varied venues when you lived in Las Vegas. Did you ever meet Frank "Casino" Rosenthal?

I saw Billy Mumy on his facebook page posted he will be a guest tomorrow night with Noory on c2cam, probably the first hour.

I got in the car tonight and I swear that I heard Noory actually ask how are YOU rather than the usual how are yeewww?  I thought to myself that it could be that he is making an effort and then I heard him tell us all that he has always wondered where rebels get weapons and I thought if he has been pondering this question for decades he really ought to break out the old Google search engine.

So, the ride home was interesting with the CBC (Canadian broadcasting corp.)

What I've observed is the more important or famous --to GN-- the guest is, the longer yeeeeewww they get.  Normal nobody...simple you, if at all.

Sigh...I don't think GN knows how to have a conversation and is one question after another, sprinkled heavily w/interruption and repeated stories about himself.  Poor fub, he doesn't even get it.

What's a fub??  I don't know.  I just made it up...it's not great tho.

It's not bad.  Fouled up broadcaster?  Yeah...that's it.  And you're right about his inability to have a conversation.  He's not interested in anything beyond the catch phrases.  He seems to treat his guest like vinyl records; he just plays them.  There's gotta be more to Jim Marrs  (whom I like) than Warren Commission Space Nazis from Nibiru, but that’s all George wants from him.  That "v"  guy was somewhat interesting, about the bankers, and the new world order, and the Federal Reserve, but why the secrecy?  And why did I have that overwhelming feeling he was playing us?  George had some gems during his segment, like: "what’s going on with the future?" and "do you predict this, or do you think it's going to happen?" (eh...what's the difference?), and when a lady called in talking about those Iraqi dinars (yeah, people are still talking about those Iraqi dinars) "v" said the whole thing was a "scam", and George, brilliant lovable twisted George, followed up with, "so they're not a good investment, huh?"  No, fub.  Not at all.

We got to know most of the casino executives and bigwigs of the time. Knew Henri Lewin, Kerkorian, Benny Binion, and a host of others.  I mostly called the bigwigs my their formal names or sir. Or just said hi, even though I could talk up a storm I was always afraid of saying the wrong thing ( mostly because I got criticized so much by my parents, which is why I didn't stay at home much ).

I got comped partly because my Mother babysat the stars kids and partly because people liked me. I'd go into parts of the casinos ( with permission ) that most 16 year old kids would never get into. I was curious about everything and they'd take me into places. My 3 regrets in life were not enlisting in the Air Force in 1970, not staying in Vegas because I could have become an executive in one of the casinos and not buying Wendy's at 5 when their stock was first offered for sale and it went to $ 50. Back then I had no one to bounce stuff off by way of advice so I didn't do stuff I should have. I really loved living in Las Vegas because there was so much entertainment going on back then and so much to do if you could find it. I had to find stuff I could do that didn't have me restricted because of age. I got to watch a lot of bowling at the Showboat as an example and saw a lot of ABC's bowling tourneys on Sat morning because it wasn't that far a walk from our apt on Maryland Parkway. They built Circus Circus when I lived there and it was one of the few places minors could do in town to have fun. I didn't know any friends who had cars so I did a LOT of walking all over back then. I must have walked up to and into every casino, all the way out to McCarran Field and Nellis and a lot of other places. The bus system then was almost non existant with only 1 or 2 bus lines running until 6 pm and not much on weekends. We didn't live too far from the Fremont and I hung around there a lot because the slot manager used to date my sister when she was in high school back in Pittsburgh. He later moved on and inherited some money and property from the owner of the Hacienda before she died.

MY problem is as I've gotten older I have had a problem remembering names and in some cases I can remember events but not exact dates.  I also have some gaps in my memories. I think the stress made me block things out in order to keep my sanity. My memories of most playmates was what they looked like. I used to talk to bunies at the local Playboy Club in San Francisco even though I wasn't old enough to go in. I eventually got a Playboy card and recently realized that I'd been reading the magazine since I was around 4. My Dad had it and all those old pulpish Mens magazines around the house. Its part of what got me interested in UFOs because he got True and Argosy which used to have articles by Donald E Keyhoe. I had taught myself to read because I found Dick and Jane to be boring as hell. - I was reading the NY Times, Washington Post and the WSJ when I was 3 and understood them. I never knew why though but I got put ahead 2 grades once I went to school because the teachers realized I was reading way above the other students. I had started reading medical journals because my Mother had them in the house because she was a nurse for eventually 50 years. Even now I am a news and book junkie with 18 bookcases in my apartment.

I can remember the first girl I ever kissed but not exactly when ( I do remember her name ). I can remember necking with a girl in an unusal way. We were both using scuba gear and were trying to see how long we could do it without using the oxygen. IF we hadn't moved so much I would have had much more success with girls. Once I got to know them I wasn't that shy around them.

There's been a lot of PTSD problems in my life from physical abuse done to my by my Father when I was 12. I had been taken to Walter Reed Army Hosptial after he almost beat me to death and had pushed me into a bathtub filled with boiling water. I lost 80% of the blood in my body and was pronounced dead. It took me almost 30 years to stop having panic attacks that got worse the closer it got to the date it happened. He did it on my parent's wedding anniversary which is 10 days before my birthday. He drank, had anger issues and we found out in the autopsy after he died that his brain had been steadily atrophying due to the effects of alchol and disease. I got my revenge when I turned 20 when he tried to beat my Mother and I proceeded to get enraged myself and beat the hell out of him and put him in the hospital. He died 3 months later and I'd thought I'd killed the sob and went through thereapy over it. Women didn't leave or divorce abusive husbands back then. He was married to my Mother for  22 years and the circumstances of his death were in an article in the Sunday secton of the SF Chronicle in an article called A Day in the Life of the Coroner. That was in 1972. The sob terrified me and he got drunk once when my Mother went to Europe and tried to rape my sister. G*D, I hated the bastard. And she refused to ever talk to him again, have him in her house once she got married and didn't talk to my Mother for 5 years over it. Its why she moved out when I was 6.

Left Art briefly last night just to catch the top of Dave's show. Stayed long enough to hear him say they would be discussing the bank 'contel' and 'how arms get into the hands of rebels'.
We dried our eyes and returned to Dark Matter. But with a sort of sense of reassurance that the suckage continues unabated.

Hey, Falkie (re:  post two above this one)...  Man, you really opened up about some heavy stuff.  My sympathy is probably worth nothing (being a random stranger on a forum), but as someone who was also diagnosed with PTSD (after a near-fatal freeway collision with a fucking drunk driver), I have the vaguest sense of the sort of memory loss and -- if I'm not reading between the lines too much -- the social anxiety and such that you hint at in your post.

We all have regrets, scads of them.  If we don't, then we're either narcissists or extraordinarily fortunate.  Have you thought at all about trying to put your experiences into book or essay form, even if it's just for yourself?  Journal keeping can be very therapeutic.  E.M. Forster said, "How do I know what I think until I see what I see what I say?"

That mysterious "V" guy last night (did V stand for 'Victor' perhaps?) recommended keeping 10-20,000 dollars in your home in a vault. Who has a vault at home? Is it bigger than a safe?
Maybe you could keep your gold there too?

No one has actual gold. It's just dubious papers they bought from Goldline, after Glenn Limbaugh told them that the streets flowing sanguine with the blood of conservatives is imminent.

Like a gun vault.

All good goldbugs also have a fairly diverse home arsenal.

I have a good gun vault, but no gold.

Precious metals are for fools that listen to lowest common denominator talk show hosts.  Guns are for alpha males and extraterrestrial hybrids.

McCarthy gave sNoory her number, she told him it's 867-5309.

I'm flabbergasted over Georgie not inviting Jenny on his show to hysterically scream and mournfully cry in sync about those terrible, evil, killer vaccines that cause everything from autism to hangnails.  Or perhaps Georgie did invite her but she and/or her agent gave Georgie the cold shoulder because he hadn't yet discovered a fresher feeling mouth and better smelling breath.  Whatever way you look at it, Jenny is definitely Georgie's kind of crazy.

Jenny and her hubby are both wrapped up with one of those stupid new age life coach gurus now.  Leader!

So I turned on the Conversation Destroyer after the AB show. The guest was an interesting guy that had plenty of research into human behavior. The guest starts talking about reproduction and how it drives behavior and GN doesn't like that-he wants to turn the conversation back to psychopaths.

One of the callers was a real-life psychopath. He called in around 1:28am or so.

Noory was absolutely HORRIBLE tonight.........he was just strange and weird and worse than normal.  I actually was too lazy to turn off my radio and listened to the guest interview after Mumy.......it was laughable.   I truly felt sorry for the dude who was being interviewed about psychopaths.  Noory was friggin' ALL OVER THE PLACE and could not concentrate on ANYTHING.

And, naturally, he didn't do his homework because he knew nothing of the guest's books.   :P

unlike Hasslehoff, Dave has nobody left to disappoint in his life when he shows up on the floor wharrgglllleegharrrbling over nothing while eating Carl's Jr.  "Disappointing is for thu hatehurthz"

An audience of 3 million every night, and not one of us disappointed.  Well maybe a few of us.

The dude was Douglas Richards.  The guy who said "I'm not interested in sex," was George Noory.  Always mindful that his mom may be listening.  He also may have realized that he fit into some of those telltale signs of a psycho.  How else to explain his "Fight the New World Order/Karaoke" conferences?  That psycho who called in ("the FBI held me in shackles all the way to Buffalo") was freaky.  I may check out Bill Mumy's  comic books, because his music sure does suck.  When George asked how folks can buy them, Muny said, "just google it, and figure it out."   Cool.

those are all shape shifting reptilian zionist overlords who eat gold and drink blood to survive.

Unfortunately, you or I cannot eat gold, so it is best used as a hedge, and a small one at that.

It's no mistake that the gold pimps on the radio affiliate and advertise to the fringe and easily scared.

Governments holding gold and other PM's is a whole other ball game.

Anyways you buy all the shiney metal you want.   I'm buying acreage on THE MOON baby!  H3!

Yes, and doing well so I've been told. I'm often lied to by dis-information agents from the glory days of afab so take it at it's worth.

Hope this helps

I was on the road last night and forced into regular radio.  I like Billy Mumy (total childhood crush) so listened in once the Giants' game was over (beat the Dodgers!)  I haven't listened to GN since Art came back.  This was a perfect chance to illustrate how much he sucks. My daughter's jaw dropped with the pinball-like conversation.  He even had Mumy going back to deliver lines from when he was 5.  This is a near 60 year old artist who has been active all that time.  Mumy was a good sport about it, but it bordered on disrespectful - and not that interesting.  I'm so glad Art is back.

If George Noory sucks but nobody's around to hear it, will Dark Matter consume the universe?

I broke down and listened to an old Norry show on YouTube from a year ago.

What a bumbling fool!  I don't miss that idiot one little bit.
