Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

A little before Art announced his Sirius show, Noory claimed he had signed a new long, long term contract with Premiere Radio, saying that he would remain as the main host of c2cam out until men land on Mars...
Dave better hope his attorneys put more effort into reviewing that new contract than he does in his show.  I can imagine PremRat including some mechanism by which dave could be replaced.  The potential downside of my speculation is that wells could then slot in a main host.  Again, I'm piling up speculation on top of wild guesses here but it does seem like the C2C is becoming more and more infowarsesque week by week.  While I find wells repellent, he puts more effort into his show than does dave.  IF thing do go pearshaped ratings-wise who knows....

I knew this would happen :) My fault for making a statement that sounds like it need a punchline..
I mean really though, I can't find the way out!

It's probably already been covered (haven't read all the pages), but I really can't stand that George interrupts guests to tell his own stories that he seems to tell almost every show... like having to interject that his father died. I realize that's traumatic for almost everyone, but it's really getting old about now. The entire show has to pause and tell George how sorry they are that his father died. There are others, but they aren't coming to me at the moment.

Since there are more than 2 people on the planet, bullying is probably here to stay. Turning a blind eye however, is a bad idea. Bullying is personal and it does set up a knee jerk reaction or similar behavior as one grows emotionally.

I do think that the argument against bullying a bully is perhaps a bit short sighted. If one murders another often times the death penalty is used. Not saying either strategy is correct, but the only "quick" way to show a bully what that behavior produces is to exact similar behavior towards the bully. However many bullies are merely reflecting learned behaviors from home. *shrugs*

My thoughts are that some behavior that would have been termed "boys being boys" in my youth is now termed "bullying," in the case of young men.  Part of the "Oprahfication" of America.  Can't have boys playing in the dirt or roughhousing.

I should have been clearer about the NEA commercial.  What bugs me with it is it's theme of more"bullying" the listener, with it's in your face proclamations.  I detest most of these "public service" commercials in general as being nothing more than thinly veiled propaganda.  In the commercial, though, the president of the NEA sounded like he could have used some so-called "bullying" in his youth.  ;)

But of course.  Much more humane than being forced to watch "The View" for a week.  ;)

That's right....I cancelled my C2C Insider and bought a Sirius today.....Pretty damn good for a Monday...can't wait for tonights show Art!

Would you mind giving some details on "buying a Sirius"?  I have satellite radio in my car just because it was there when I bought the car, and I renew service annually.  Are you saying you bought a home satellite radio receiver?  If so, what did you buy and where did you get it?  What type antenna, if any, is required?

It's my understanding Sirius/XM requires seperate service for each receiver one owns.  Do they give any type discount for owning multiple receivers.

IF you already own a device you should be able to activate the ONLINE listening, for a minimal price - like 3 bux per month or something like that.

Yeah thats a much better deal, just use an internet capable device like a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

I get a yuck yuck out of it.

Guest kidnapped by aliens?
...wait wait, George survived a kidnapping attempt in Mexico.

Guest was lead on a NASA mission?
...wait wait, George used to launch rockets with his buddy in the backyard. He would do fake radio announcements.

Guest solved some major biomedical problem?
...wait wait, George used to do experiments on hamsters as a child. He had a white lab coat, just like you Mr. Nobel Prize.

Thanks Neb!  Unfortunately I think it's kind of a lost cause at this point.  So my current plan is to:

1) Keep listening to Art on Sirius as long as I can cover the costs
2) Listen to G. Knapp whenever he's on Coast
3) If Noory's got a good guest on, extend my limited tolerance for all his verbal manglings by wearing a pair of thick oven mitts, so I can facepalm myself without injury

I am inclined to follow your path but I also listen to Mysterious Universe too. I tend to listen to everything late.  Loved Dr. Taylor; listened to that 2-3 days late.  George could never have handled an interview like that.

It'll be interesting to see what has happened to George's market share with Art's return to radio the next time the Arbitron ratings come out.  I don't think I'd be nearly as resentful of George's success if he seemed to take his task seriously (and do a little homework) and treated his guests and callers with true respect (and not canned niceness).

Reminds me of the lame NEA commercial that has teachers saying they won't allow bullying in their school by proclaiming not "in my school!!!," in a bullying manner, of course.  ::)  I wonder how many times after school Dave was chased home by the other kids.

Dave had a home ?
I thought the Deros dumped him off on a side road somewhere as a baby because even they have standards.

Did George do anal probing on the hamsters ?
Or did they perform experiments on him like a leukotomy ?
And did he fight the hamsters for who got first dibs on the hamster chow ?
Did he cry when he lost ?
And when he did lose did he whine or cry about it ?
Did the hamsters bitch slap him too ?

Part of being bullied is learning to throw a punch and land a bully on their ass.

Off goes the AM radio and on comes an Art Bell Sirius replay tonight...

Wow.  Thats a lame topic even for Oprah.

Well done Jorch.  Feeble single cat ladies are your target market.  Too bad they go to bed by 8p.m.

Honestly haven't heard about MU, but sounds cool, will have to seek that out.  I also enjoyed Dr. T.  What a fun show.  I mean where else do you get to hear about robotic helicopters searching for Bigfoot?  And obviously Art was having a great time too, which us listeners pick up on.  When I think of Art's show, both present and past, that word "fun" keeps popping up in my mind.

Did you all see Art's FB post?

"I would like to thanks the people at Bell Gab and people who love Art Bell as well as the other support groups out there. It's sure fun doing REAL Radio."

I also heard Art make some mention on the LMH show about "working" with something "In The Light" with a knowing snort.

Made me smile

This is so funny.  However I don't know which is worse, actually doing it, or lying about it.  It's kind of a philosophical question perhaps.  Either way, I'm laughing so hard at this.

What Snoorge diidn't admit is when he would paint stripes on his prvate parts, open his fly and stick it out and try to convince girls that HE was a unicorn.
He also used to hand out unicorn turds to people, but they were never enthused by it.
He also THOUGHT he had a unicorn dick but it was more like turkish taffy.

So are unicorn turds just handfuls of horse pie?

Idiot Noory just played the complete version of "I Will Survive".  This was surely an unveiled reference to the return of Artemous Bell, and Dave's impending tumble down an evil portal to which he's always referring. Then he resumed bumbling and fumbling while continuing an interview with Bill Gladstone about the Mayan Calendar.  Did no one tell this Rhodes Scholar that "nuthin happened???"  Does his suckiness know no boundries???  PS:  All of this happened within 30 seconds of turning on the radio!   :o ??? ::)

Katherine Austin Fitts  grows weary of George's leading, doomsday ridden, questions.  Howard Bloom  on monkeys, China, gerrymandering and everything else.  William Gladstone  traveled the world working on that "In Search Of.." tv show that I use to dig when I was a kid, with that smart, bubbly, enthusiasm that comes through your radio and makes your car smell good better than Febreze.  George also related the "I was at a restaurant sitting across from a couple with their cell phones" story that I'm sick of already.  I think all his antidotes are things he's seen in movies and gets them confused.  Soon he'll be telling us of "the kid that lived next door that would wish people away into the cornfield..."
