edit:  and i think it was curtis that contacted him.  i got a note from curtis this morning saying george had agreed to do the show, so i assume curtis contacted him.  you can ask curtis to be sure.  i'm not sure it really matters, though.

2) The dude is a real person...you can hate the "product" he delivers all you want but it is very stand up to show up on here and discuss the fact this thread exists.  That doesn't mean you have to agree with him or even give a shit one way or the other.

3) he is coming on The Spec Sheet.  Michael has free reign to be himself as do I.  I intend to have fun not be David Frost.  If you have ever listened to the podcast you already realize that.  Since paranormal takes up a minority of my thought process it may take up a minority of our conversation.  I would like to hear how he uses tech and let it go from there.  Same way I am with all our callers or potential guests.

With this in mind do not try to read more into his appearance than what it is.  I am a fan of Art Bell like many of you.  Art has never been expected to respond to his detractors directly on here.  Quit trying to make comparisons and enjoy.  This site is made possible because of you, don't freak out.  Unless you are changing the site isn't changing.

I loved it when Art talked about his ham radio.  It is difficult for me to listen to the old ones because of Ramona's death.  I like George Knapp, he's different.  Ian was such a shill.  He really started getting on my nerves toward the end.  I did like it when he had that "episode."
