george noory will be appearing on the spec sheet (the podcast i do with themudking) soon.  i'm leaving the country within 10 days, so it'll happen before then.  his appearance will be aired live just as all of our podcasts are, and he'll be taking your calls.

Back when I still listened to C2C, say around 2002-2003, Noorie used to claim (over and over again, ad nauseum, ad infinitum, as he's wont to do) that he saw digital 1111, every damn where he went, on every damn digital device he saw.  It was 1111 on his clock, 1111 on his car radio, always that damn 1111.  Surely it meant something precipitous, calamitous, dead babyish and mangled puppyish?   (He was trying to make his own "shadow people" happen) Then his dumbed-down ohm-pen lines callers started calling in saying they were seeing it every damn where too!  Ooooo. 

I guess, from what I gather, he quit doing it at some point; but WE know better.  Note the remarkable coincidences on page 1111 of this very GNS thread.

i will be polite, but i won't be restraining myself in terms of the questions i ask.  furthermore, you're welcome to call in and ask whatever you like.

edit:  and i think it was curtis that contacted him.  i got a note from curtis this morning saying george had agreed to do the show, so i assume curtis contacted him.  you can ask curtis to be sure.  i'm not sure it really matters, though.

Yes, one of the best voices in rock, Delp is greatly missed.  Here's something from their site, in case you weren't up on the latest:

Ten freaking years.  Tom hasn't changed.    Scholz is like the "anti-Jorch."  He spends 10 years perfecting one album while Jorch spends 8 minutes for show prep.  : If we're lucky, "mid year 2013" probably really means "sometime in 2014."  I'm hoping they hit the road again when the new album is released.
