Oh this is getting better all the time.  By the way, just listened to an old Art show with Michio Kaku, his first appearance, back in '97.  I learned more listening to an Art show from 16 years ago than I ever did listening to anything on Norrie's C2C.  Can't wait for the real thing again!

To get that notebook background, go to the first post on the first page of the Eye Pad thread.  Right click on the blank note page and 'Save Picture As' to your computer.

Once that is downloaded, right click on it and 'Open With  >   Paint'

And you are ready to start.  In Paint, use the buttons at the top of the page.

Knapp was the one who brought Area 51 to the public's attention when he was investigating the government screwing employees over cancer claims on a project they worked on. I forget the details. Knapp had done a lot of stories about mob involvement in Vegas, and then left town for unknown reasons... When he came back he left the mob alone and went after the government and 51 was his big deal.

Did it say compete directly?  What if instead of adding an hour which competes directly with Dave, he starts an hour earlier, therefore still no competition?

I don't think anything Art does will have a significant effect on Noory and C2C. Noory has his audience fairly well solidified and I doubt Art, even in his prime, 20 years ago, could peel off many of Noory's listeners.

The whole ''satellite thing'' is a big roadblock for more people than a lot of folks around here think.

There are 25 million subscribers now. I am sure a percentage of them will be happy to have Art. SiriusXM did a butt load of sweeping shows out a month or so ago, including noory.

I don't think SXM is looking at Art to bring in a bunch (could be wrong). I think they brought him in as a superior product to what they had been offering.

I have to give credit to SiriusXM for the house cleaning.  PremRat is way overdo for something similar but they seem to be suffering from corporatitis, a sweeping, insidious disease much worse than nooryitis.

If Art brings in 100k new subscribers (which is def possible if not more) he will be making Sirius a lot of money.

Sure, George sucks.  But, do you think he knows he sucks?  Or do you think he thinks he is a "great host"?  Do the "yes people" tell him he's great all day so now he believes it?  Oh that's probably Tommy's job.
