I have been trying to look at all the George's Eye Pads as I have time.  Your material is hilarious - great work!

How do you guys do the artwork and text?  I've never done something like that before - Is there a program to do it in?  It looks too good to have been just done in Paint like MV said in the first post.

Paint which comes with Windows is a good basic editor, or you can drop big bucks on PhotoShop if you want a much more powerful photo editor. Gimp on the other hand is pretty powerful photo editor and FREE to boot. Many ways to skin drawing editing photos on the PC.

PhotoShop and Gimp have steep learning curves, but there are youtube videos that can teach the basics and more, for each program.

Yeah, that's what I needed was a tutorial - thanks!  I don't get how they're using the notebook background that MV provided and then creating.  I only dabbled with photo-shopping a few pictures, but nothing like the George's Eye Pads.  We have some really talented people here.

I can barely wait for Art's return.  I think an outside observation from someone new to this forum might be good.  But it's not meant to stir anything up.

I think George Noory jumping in has ruined the entire premise.  No one is expected to agree with that but it is an unbiased observation.  I have a very difficult time listening to coast and have from 2001ish with Art's moving on.  Again it is only an observation but I strongly believe this forum will only get stronger with Art's comeback and in the meantime George Noory knowing that sees it as several nails in his coffin.  His timing here is to remove at least one nail.

Art returning + "George Noory Sucks" marching on is just too much distraction for coast.  He must try to diffuse what be can and right now you are it.  I would personally ignore him or at least treat him like the idiot he is since he seems to have become a regular GN SUCKS poster.  It is funny for a suckee to post on his very own suck thread and then give the very people who not only think he sucks so badly but that he was birthed from an asshole and has gay sex with his producer 'shout outs.' I see your metaphor but I just don't think its that way.  He is trying to befriend people who he alienated for a decade.  I see it more like how can I get some of them to switch sides and disband this nightmare.  He would also hope Arts return, though also a thorn, dulls this angst toward him and eventually it all disappears.  There is a method to the madness.

To get that notebook background, go to the first post on the first page of the Eye Pad thread.  Right click on the blank note page and 'Save Picture As' to your computer.

Once that is downloaded, right click on it and 'Open With  >   Paint'

And you are ready to start.  In Paint, use the buttons at the top of the page.

This was done in Win7 Paint using just a mouse, and I suck at photo editing.
