Yeah, I grew up in Oregon (don't live there any longer), where it is illegal to do self-serve pumping so it was not uncommon.  When I was a pump jockey, I had just filled a behind the license plate tank filler and then the moron drove off.  So, the last thing I was looking at, duh, was his license plate.  Called the cops and they had him by the time he got home basically.

Fortunately, I've only just left the gas cap off and hanging as I've driven off into the sunset.  I always appreciate the driver who pulls up alongside, madly waving at me.  After I realize they're not a deranged, crazed stalker, I wave in appreciation and pull over as soon as I can to fix the problem.

Yeah, at least they're attached now, we had a whole collection of filler caps at my stations because of people who would drive off without it on yet, when a lot were still not physically attached to the car.

No one presents so consistently that there is no deviance in their overall behavior. Noory by Art's assessment is a nice guy. Noory has done some shitty things on air. I think a few of them are due to his lack of self awareness. But Noory had nothing to gain by posting here. Yet he did, and he wasn't snide. Granted if he had been, it would not have served well for his side.

I see a great deal of contentious behavior and when one side wants to apologize, the status quo is disrupted, and there is little forgiveness offered. Nothing gets settled in that scenario. And being a bad host isn't reason for blood letting. And if one can't look to amend any type of relationship then the real issue is not with the bad radio host. 

No one here needs to like Noory. But with Art's new show and Noory stating he wants to change... holding onto the anger may seem right, but it isn't.

If dave improves C2C, then good for him and his audience.  I don't want apologies, we're not buddies, I don't view C2C as "my show"; just improve the interviews.

Keeping the this original idea, for some of us this is beyond redemption. I have said before, I have listened since 1996.

It makes me sad people are being taken for a ride. You're being used. That is sad behavior. The whole purpose was to get us infighting and derail this thread. Success. And I am positive by nature. But someone's track record speaks for itself regarding the host. Why wait this long for suggestions?

Desperation?  The return of Art Bell must be one of their worst fears realized.  It seems obvious to me that no contingency plan was in place for this situation.  What we are experiencing here reminds me of those "reputation management" ads I hear on the radio.  You know the ones that tell you how one bad review online can cause you damage, and the company can bury or remove the results?  (Maybe those don't air in all areas.)

I do agree that we need to get back to the essence of this thread.  I feel that is documenting the suckage and ineptitude of GN.  Have you noticed for 20+ pages there has been very little coverage of his actual suckage on recent shows?  I would listen and contribute, but I have had other obligations.
