I have been under the Illusion that this forum was made up of guys like me who think Noory ruined a great radio show - by being lazy, never actually reading guests books - asking inept questions etc.

Apparently Its made up of giddy teenagers who are bowled over and turn on their principles in an inch because someone (moderately) famous shows up.

Sucking up to Mr Noory is not going to help the situation. It just makes it worse.

Noory you are intellectually lazy, you have been given a national show and are wasting your talent by not stretching yourself intellectually.

If I might come back to the purpose of this thread for a moment, I wanted to comment on the people who were rushing to congratulate Dave on a great interview about Superman. It's not the first time that a smart, articulate guest who knows his subject inside out has made Noory look vaguely competent. But it was very obvious that The Snooron had not read Larry Tye's book, had only the vaguest awareness of the comics and that his principle points of contact with The Man Of Steel were the TV series and Richard Donner's movie. Leopard's don't change their spots. Form is temporary, class (or total lack of it in Dave's case) is permanent. Upping his game? Erm, no. Not at all. There is no doubt about it.

Honestly I'm not at all surprised nor impressed that "George" is now posting here.  It's disingenuous at best. Phoning it in for the last 8 years, pointing fingers, blaming everyone else but yourself and your crew. Now it's "aw hey let's be friends. I'm really a nice guy. Look at the good job I'm doing now. " In reality all it is is damage control. Forced. Play nice and maybe they will leave us alone. It's all part of the new PR campaign (ie: more Art-ish type music) to try and win people over.

Getting excited about George doing his job reminds me of an old Chris Rock skit about guys wanting credit and bragging about shit they are supposed to do.

Seriously, this is my favorite forum to visit and MV has done an awesome job. Lets just watch what happens with C2C and be cautiously optimistic. Time will tell.

No one presents so consistently that there is no deviance in their overall behavior. Noory by Art's assessment is a nice guy. Noory has done some shitty things on air. I think a few of them are due to his lack of self awareness. But Noory had nothing to gain by posting here. Yet he did, and he wasn't snide. Granted if he had been, it would not have served well for his side.

I see a great deal of contentious behavior and when one side wants to apologize, the status quo is disrupted, and there is little forgiveness offered. Nothing gets settled in that scenario. And being a bad host isn't reason for blood letting. And if one can't look to amend any type of relationship then the real issue is not with the bad radio host. 

No one here needs to like Noory. But with Art's new show and Noory stating he wants to change... holding onto the anger may seem right, but it isn't.

I'm on this thread because my bf likes listening to c2c.  He works nights.  I like listening to Art Bell, any time.  I jumped in here because Mr. Noory came to "This Thread."  I wanted to tell my bf what he was saying, etc. over the phone.

I love my moniker.  Thought it might even calm down some of the hatred happening but that was apparently another mistake I made.  I also have no interest in being on the other threads some rude asses recommended for me.  I have been nice.  I hold no suck grudges but clearly when you listen to somebody who sucks so badly and then just keep talking about it you may need clonazepam.

I can post here til the owner of this website says otherwise.  I believe we have freedom of speech in a lot of countries.  I didn't sign an agreement to be a nasty red headed bitch when I joined in so stop quoting me if you can't be decent.

Growing up with red hair you get told a lot of BS about your personality relating to the color of your hair. Even in adulthood try to have a constructive disagreement and you get "WOW, I CAN REALLY TELL YOU'RE A REDHEAD". It's a cop out and  lame. The forum will be fine, the interlopers will be excised, and September is just around the corner. 
I'm quite serious about the ignore list.  Clonazepam is the chemical name for an anti-anxiety med, and the posts are causing anxiety for you.  Possibly this new person is a premrat here to cause anxiety perhaps she is just unwell herself, in either case putting her on the ignore list smooths things right out.
