George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

Hot off the radio waves tonight re Edgar Cayce:

Jorch:  "How did he inch out a living?"

I'm beginning to think that English really was a second language in Noory's home.  It would make sense that the people he was most often listening to were unfamiliar with much of it, and he just ran with what he heard and has never given it another thought.  ???

I'm certain that's the case, and suspect that etymology has never really interested him. Of course he chooses a profession where his shortcomings will be on full display to millions nightly. I kind of have sympathy for him because a lot of my friends growing up were first generation Americans with similar struggles ...but I then remember what a clown he is.

Lol. It's like a witch hunt around here. One misunderstood post and you're accused of being Tommy.
Well shit, it aint like noory hasnt pulled stunts like this before. Go over to the original fantastic forum and drop into the george noory thread. The admin over there posted the whole escapade, including posts from noorys "daughter" Julie. Its a helluva read and it does show noorys thin skin when it comes to folks picking on him. I ran across a similar thread on another board as well, but its been so long I cant recall the name of the site.
Now, one might think noory would learn a lesson after being swatted on the nose a couple times, but try to keep in mind who we are talking about here. George Ralph Noory.
(Still cant believe the suckers middle name is Ralph)  8)

No doubt about that at all.  But he was born here and went to school - all the way through college - here.  The people I know (at work and certainly the ones I am releated to) that were born here all speak English as well as I do even when something else was spoken when they were growing up at home.

60 years later, George can't read aloud, doesn't know common sayings and phrases, can't pronounce and doesn't know the meaning of common words.  His not knowing much about historical and current events can't be put on lack of English when he was a child either.

Heh, and I think it's funny that he claims not to be named after his mother - Georgette.

First time I heard that, Cheech Marin popped into my head:
"His name is RAAAAALPH!"

Ya, I fully understand why a long time Coastgab guy would use a tortured legal interpretation that even he can't defend and only is helpful to George and Premiere because he is completely unaffiliated with them.  Ya, because he loves George so...

If they are willing to hire an attorney to look at us and then we get a statute posted on here that says we should be nice to George, or ELSE.  OK, sure, complete coincidence.

Premiere hired folks are on here, likely several, and you know it.

Does he speak English to mom today?  She seems one his closest advisers and they seem to talk daily.  Do they not speak English?  Might explain something, maybe he does not
"think" in English.

I was very glad to hear that George's children, trapped in the Midwest blizzard, still found time to send him some "textes."

I was in that nice, warm, drifty space.  Just about to fall deeply asleep.  I heard that and started laughing out loud.
I had to get up and let the dog out, and it's damn cold here.  Worth it.  I was still chuckling as I crawled back into bed.   ;)

NoMoreNoory

I guess we'll have The Breather doing Open Lines tonight. sNooron announced he's taking the day off because it would have been his Dad's 90th birthday. Imagine how much that would cost the economy if everyone started taking days off to celebrate the theoretical birthdays of deceased relatives.
No doubt (if, God forbid, he's still on air by then) he'll take a day off later in the year to mark the 1st anniversary of The Great Pizza Roll Disaster.
On which subject, the thought occurs that he's recently been sharing on-air that his sister has Stage 3 cancer. Knowing that puts his self-obsessed whining about a bit of burnt skin on the roof of his mouth in a different perspective: one that once again reveals the strangely dissociative mind and personality of Noory, George Ralph.

Who sucks. Greatly.

Do I think we will be sued?  No.  Is Noory stupid enough to threaten if not out right try to sue?  Yes.
Forgive me if this has already been posted.  Back in 2007, the Nooron made similar threats against the Fantastic Forum:
From George Noory <george@coasttocoastam.com>
May 17, 2007 4:11 PM
subject: FF

Once again, your  forum is being used for hate and inaccuracy. The Sci-Fi show IS NOT a paid for informercial, but has been produced for Sci-Fi and will run at their expense.

Additionally, I have informed my attorney to immediately begin plans to sue various members for libel and to obtain from you either voluntarily or in court appropriate IP addresses, etc.

I take my career seriously and have NO problems with honest criticism and critique, but it's gotten out of hand.

I am asking you, as the administrator for the LAST TIME to clean this up, and will hold you personally responsible for such libelous attempts by your members to libel me and the show.

No way did Snorge write that. Maybe it was written by his daughter or whoever answers email for him. But Snorge's command of English isn't at the same level as that exhibited in the post. We know how he butchers words and grammar. There's no reason to think he writes any better than he speaks even when he has time to...er..."think". That post was written by someone who is more smarterer and prob'ly gooder edumacated than Snorge. And like the childish threat directed at CoastGab, it's meant to frighten and intimidate. But it's still just a threat. To my knowledge nothing more ever came of it.

the fact that George will go on and on about the most trivial of things (pizza rolls being an excellent example) as if it was an encounter with a terrorist on a killing rampage just indicates how this guy simply does not have a life. he lives vicarously through his own bullshit because he may be one of the few people who actually believes his own bullshit

Oh yay, the Feb 22 episode of Bee On Bleef features James Van Fraad.  Watching George Noory on video - the odd movements, the strange hand gestures, awkward movements, I knew he reminded of someone..

I see George gave his purple shirt to James.  I wonder if they swapped shirts.

Oh, fer cryin' out loud. That has to be one of the most lame   lies   (Oops! Don't wanna get sued!) "excuses" Snorge has recently proffered for taking a Friday off. I'm not buying it. Would he take the day off if his deceased father's would-be 90th birthday fell on a Tuesday? I'm guessing no.

In any case, I'd listen to the show but I'm pretty sure it's my deceased favorite uncle's would-be 80-something birthday so I'm taking the night off. Well, that and because hearing John Be Unwell makes me want to vomit.

Snorge sucks.

You're right, sNoory doesn't have a life, no hobbies, interests, friends, whatever.  Art had his Ham radio and all the antenna's he'd put up, his cats, wife (current and deceased).  He'd mention his trip to Paris with Ramona.

Does sNoory interact socially with anyone, apart from family or work.  Does he ever mention his house, no not his actual address, but people do talk about fixing it up, remodeling, or selling their residences.   Does he golf, hunt, fish, like and watch major league sports?  Nope.

I think it'd be very difficult for him to have any male buddies.  Who would want to have a few beers with him?  The conversation would have to be centered around him and his fantastic career.  No give and take.

John B. Wells flu? I come down with that every time he hosts. And the people that compare him to Art really anger me. I only listen once in awhile to hear just how bad it is. I thought we listened to radio for entertainment, not hours of infomercials? After listening to the fine Art stream and hearing Art ask the questions I want asked, then going back to what Coast is now is truly sad. :(

George really is funny to watch on Bland Bleeef.  He seems to overthink his hand gestures... I also notice at the start he goes out of his way to shake peoples hands in the front row but only does the one side... seems so forced like he is thinking... ok come up front... shake at least 2 hands... THEN RUUUUN to my desk... ignore eveybody else... now time to hunch over and do my best tSoookalouse impression.  I have yet to sit through a whole episode without falling asleep.

It's like watching some overgrown kid play "I wanna be a TV star!" with the neighborhood kids.  He should be setting behind a cardboard box as a make-believe-desk, talking into a tin can as a make-believe microphone.  Keep on pretending, Jorch.  ::)

And yet he somehow manages to get investors in a restaurant with a 'theme' that surely will fail and when he has no restaurant experience, he is able to convince a major radio corporation to give him a job that is far far beyond his ability - then keep him on, he continues to get opportunities to host his own TV show and be on others, his employees don't ditch the first chance they get.

I refuse to believe George has anything going for him.  It would have come through after 4 hours a day of his show.

even in emergencies like his burning pizza roll incident, the person he called to take him to the ER was Tommy...

Well, it's only a homonym, but maybe when George was a tiny baby he heard his mother scream out, "Inch!!! A mouse!".

(And wait for it, 2, 3, 4.....)

Oh, and I have to say I'm impressed with George's guerrilla techs: to get the site shut down for several hours? Wow. He must have gone out and hired a couple of guys who were ex-Chinese military intelligence.

Is that what happened? I thought CoastGab was down for maintenance.
