I believe that we on Bellgab can now lay claim to having discovered a new syndrome. We will now be able to establish when a Coast guest is experiencing a NBE. A Near Boston Experience.

;D ;D ;D

Noory introduced Jerome Corsi as a reporter for infowars.com!?  When did that happen?  Last time I heard Corsi he claimed he was part of the Trump press corp, or something like that.   ::)

Oh shit.  I just realized Joel Wallach was the guest tonight.  Radio OFF!   :(

A blip for International Women's Day.  No stories to celebrate women, no triumphs to recall. Oh but hey, if you choose to stay home with the children or work as a mother that is absolutely fine, by George.  No word on International Women's Day for women who merely had abortions.  No word for women who were infertile and may have aborted excess embryos after fertility treatments 30 years ago.  No word for women whose reproductivity was damaged by violent rape. Every woman is a mother with Cheerios on the table for little Johnnys in George's paradigm.  Must be nice.

Onto 10 minutes for the guy pinned under vehicle.

And politics as usual.  Not women in politics.

Okay I get it.  He thinks of mothers when he thinks of women.

He didn't think of me.

How many women are just out of high school? How many women are infertile? How many women aborted babies and are childless?  How many women choose not to bring a child into an incestuous extended family?  How many office women faced miscarriages? And faced miscarriages because the patriarchy sent them to work with VDT computer displays?  And never received justice?  How many women no longer face the stay-at-home fake dilemma (fake because the men don't always have better jobs and could certainly step up to the plate if having a parent at home were really critical).  How many women no longer face parenting dilemmas because their children are old enough to take care of themselves?  How many women are way beyond motherhood?  How many women have outlived their child through tragedy?  How many women are past child rearing years?  How many women are in their extreme old age?  How many women survived cancer?  How many women got a pink slip today?  How many women have no family left?  How many women have no decent family?  How many women face horrible hurdles, entirely outside the scope of reproduction?

How many women are sick and tired of being reduced in the media to their reproductivity (and visual appeal to men).  With no acknowledged inherent value other than their service to men and babies.

How many women wish their men would get counseling to expand narrow, thoughtless, dismissive paradigms such as mixing up International Women's Day with Mothers Day.

Just walked past the radio by accident and heard this: "Here we go to Julia in Lima, Peru... hehe WAAAY west of the Rockies! Hi Julia!"

To him. To him. To him.  It's all about his points of reference, whether right or wrong.

What about her, her, her.  Like as in Happy INTERNATIONAL Women's Day, Julia...

Years ago he read an article saying men don't like certain shoes women wear.  The article was not even correct when I checked the original source.  And the original source was much more gender neutral than article made it sound.  As if men can even tell wedges from crocs.  You know a survey is portrayed wrong when it says men prefer women in crocs! Ha!  And to pick on wedges is foul ball because some women need them in order for their feet to touch the ground when sitting, since desks are made for men.

I waited and waited and waited for him to read news SUPPORTING women, or jokingly ridiculing men.  But it never came.  Not even after that male news anchor wore the same suit every day for a year, and no one said a thing.  He did it to show how silly people are toward women, because in the same year the two women on air with him were repeatedly judged negatively for their outfits.  The male anchor took a whole year to show this kind of support for his female coworkers.  Just like the ladies and shoes survey, this man got plenty of press.  But, not on Coast to Coast AM.

Be quiet woman- I'm trying to listen to the show.

But seriously, how can you really take something as broad (no pun intended) as International Women's Day seriously?

Well you did ask so the answer is I took International Women's Day seriously because a 50-year old woman here has been in hospital for a week, still fighting for her consciousness after being beat and kicked into unconsciousness after being raped in public while people were nearby.  The stranger would have killed her but fled when he heard sirens.  The previous woman raped here was nice enough to give the guy a cigarette when he asked.  But then he nearly killed her after his crime.  Abroad a woman and her boyfriend were gang raped for hours on a private bus to the extent that her digestive system was destroyed and she  early died.  She can never eat but has to be tube fed.  She was a medical student.  Men abroad are using viagra to rape women to the death (usually from internal bleeding out).  A man can't even find violence-free porn in this country online, and lately images of dead women bleeding out from mechanical uterine destruction are the pop-ups.  Abroad, there have been several recent planned simultaneous rapes of multiple women in public at public events.  Any babies resulting from these types of rapes will probably grow up fatherless, in a world that apparently doesn't have a men's day.  And yes, convicted rapists do pay child support as well as delivery costs, and the debt does not disappear until it's paid, even after the child turns 18.

I believe men are important too.  Of course there should be an International Men's Day.  Crimes and exploitation against parenting women hurt the women's sons as well.

And, again, using these audio clips in the name of obvious satire/parody under fair use, did we really hear a while back George Noory telling us "you can enjoy constipation?, or informing his guest that "it's an interesting journey...constipation? Explaining the guest's awkward pause in replying?
You say obvious satire but it sounds so real.  Gimme the calendar date!

Actually I'd prefer a day celebrating "Men Who Respect and Appreciate Women and Aren't the Stereotypical Jerks They're Often Portrayed As".

Hear!  Hear!  It is now proclaimed that there is an International Norry Sucks Day!  Of course, the celebration begins here.

What about an International Squirrel Day, although I'd be more partial to International Kitty Day.  Pussy needs a day to call it's own.

But that might offend our Reptilian elite overlords and cause them to start the extermination policies more quickly.  ;)

ps: I watched "Day of the Animals" the other day. I like that movie.

There's been a 'multi-state outbreak of listerious', reports Joorch.
Anyone know anything about this mysterious listerious? Presumably his attempt to read the word 'listeriosis'??
