Nuclear waste storage. Let's put it all on the Moon. Nothing bad will happen . . . .

It's in production hell. They want to use the original concept from the novel, with the Age of Renewal at 21.

21 huh. Why?  So, it can be spoon fed to the millennial audience.  Yeah...I'm cynical.

And he looks far more alive then Keith Richards.
Actually for 69 years old Gilmore looks great

I'm glad Art brought back the first time caller's line.

I'm not worried, Alien intervention will stop global nuclear warfare when the time comes. "Trust your inner child, he doesn't like you either"

Well, there was the (alleged) Israeli and South African test in the ocean.  The Vela incident they called it.

Me too. He needed it badly as it was just the same callers over and over. That atheist calls in every single night.

I want a Concealed Carry Nuke license, nobody would mess with me
We have that right...

Three people in this thread remember this show.  I loved it too!  This is refreshing to me.  Cheers!  Face to face I've met no more than a dozen people who remember the show.

I'm a Gilmore fan more that Waters, but im not really diggin the last Floyd album and im trying to dig Gilmore's recent solo album, the sad thing is they said this is it, they are done after this, Gilmore is almost 70 years old and can still play well.

On An Island was quite good!
His new album.. ive only heard the singles..  so Im on the fence.  Reminds me of his About Face album.

Have not listened to The Endless River.  ALthough I do Like PRE Dark Side Floyd the best.   Careful WIth THat Ax Eugene is my fave.   Listen to that in a dark room on Mushrooms.

I like crazy guests.  I don't listen to Art for legitimate interviews.  I want Bob Lazar and John Lear and that crazy guy who was planning to go live with the hollow Earth people.

I like some of that, but I write fiction for a living and I am cognizant that I am only one small step from becoming a Bob Lazar or a John Lear. There is a line where fiction can be sold as reality. And I would be lying for money if I did that. How many have figured out that angle? A lot. That is not to say that crazy doesn't exist, but lying for cash does too. That takes the wind out of a lot of the guests for me, unfortunately. I know what they did.

There's the lady from Japan that seems to get through constantly, too.

True. But I'm all for Justin Beiber being in the Carousel . . . .

I believe just a sliver the media reports. Twitter is far more reliable and instant.

I've heard the same thing, suitcase nukes have a short shelf life.

She is soooo boring but Art seems to love her.

It's entertaining, though.  No one (or at least only a very few people) actually believe the nonsense the hucksters come up with.  It's just fun entertainment.  I don't feel there's a problem with people making a living off paranormal entertainment.  Hell, Art Bell made his fortune doing it. :)

Only reliable from a reliable source.  ;)

This may be my favorite guest yet. This subject is right up my alley and this guy is intelligence and sincere. Well done on this show MITD folks. I regret wasting the first hour to watch the Canucks get bitch slapped... again...
