...I think it is ironic that the main road at Los Alamos National Labratory is called Bikini Atoll Drive.

I saw a documentary once about the Bikini Atoll tests.  Very disturbing.  Aren't they still radioactive?

A Navy commander I worked for actually go sent there to manage the decomtamination effort. They tried scraping the topsoil and there is a big concrete dome made out of hexagon shapes (RCH would love finding that image) but noone can live there yet. They tried esettling for awhile but ferrying in food and water kind of ruined the whole concept.
