No USG funding of the SETI Project means it's immune to FOIA requests.

Only his servant Hoagie could find his evil form in the martian landscape! I also have a theory Hoagland is really Wilbur Whately...

I don't understand why you're getting shit for your post. It really makes no sense.

I should have probably kept my mouth shut.  Everyone hates to have their deep-seated belief systems challenged.

WOTR

I really have had nothing to add on tonight's show...  I hope that other hosts might listen and learn how to treat and handle callers and guests.  There is nothing wrong with challenging their point of view.  I love intelligent "radio."

Bravo Caller asking about funding!!!

Agreed!

Great show, he presents himself well and is personable.  Whether he's likeable or not is not the issue.  Interesting program and two hours gone so fast!

I shudder to think what would happen to us if 'contact' was made with an untrained Average Joe Earthling!
The good new is, if we are ever invaded by aliens we can defeat them with our backyard bug zappers. Thank you Dr. Greer.

I hate closed-minded people.

Speaking of Lovecraft, our very own Atlanta Radio Theatre Company does many dramatizations of his works for radio (along with other Sci-Fi/horror pulp stories). I assume many of you are radio fans and might enjoy their productions. They are awesome live too! http://www.artc.org

Do we have to pay extra to see Greer without his shirt?

k...back....got booted out for a bit. How annoying.

That's cute a guy who sits in a room watching equipment that will never capture an alien signal equating himself to the first man who went around the world.

Jeff Porcaro is a god to me.  Rosanna was one of the first songs I learned to play on drums.

Everything about Greer costs extra.

He also compared his effort to finding the cure for cancer.

Tesla?!  Hell, Ben Franklin demonstrated the sky-to-ground DC potential.  Then Mahlon Loomis showed it could be used to power wireless communication.

Until Greer delivers; he's no better than Courtney Brown.  He promised the world and failed to deliver.
