I kind of wish there was another hour just for open lines, no guest.  Ah well.

That was the best thing about the 90s shows. The guest would always be first up and then the last hour or two were Open Lines in the middle of the night which always brought out the best calls.

These three hour shows are perfect. I really like how long these are. I know a couple posters want another hour or two but I feel like three hours keeps everything tight and fast moving.

I agree quantity does not equate quality and besides, are not we really waiting to hear Richard Hoagland?

Doesn't even need to be in orbit. They are very close to the capability of launching an EMP attack on the US, they just need a bit more range on their missiles.

I think we have interceptors over the Pacific Ocean. If they launched one from NK it likely wouldn't make it here. Then we would have an excuse to decimate them.

I was thinking they would have to get close to the Mainland undetected and launch it from a cargo ship in order for them to do some damage to us.

Atom bombs will produce an EMP, Enrico Fermi predicted it and during the first US atomic test they still had problems despite shielding everything. After that, it's all about the altitude and the strength of the EMP. Kerry said years ago that they had at least one if not three bombs, now they probably have more, so that's why they kept doing missile tests aiming at Alaska or overshooting Japan to send a message that they can knock us out with EMP. The actual nukes hitting the ground isn't the point of NK's policy.
