Sanders feels guilty for being White and repeatedly says the most pussied out stuff in the media. Political surveys say we have 82% the same politics but in my mind this guy is so far left that he's just not a real choice.

Having it be either Hilary or Sanders coming out of the Democrats makes me depressed and question everything.

I don't know man, Robert McNamera in his documentary Fog of War said he thought Kennedy would've pulled out. When Kennedy got popped we only had a few thousand advisors on the ground and shit didn't get real until 1964 when terrorist attacks all through the South and the Gulf of Tonkin incidents prompted LBJ to think American marines landing on Vietnamese soil would scare the shit out of the North and cause them to submit. Little did these idiots know the Vietnamese had been in continuous war for 3,000 years with foreign invaders and the Americans were just next in line behind the French, Japanese, Chinese, etc. But one of the big reasons people think Kennedy got shot is he was wanting to pull back on Vietnam.

To me what's really interesting about Kennedy is when I was young, the lone gunman theory was fact and conspiracy theories were considered silly. Now mainstream history has left the question of who killed Kennedy completely open to speculation and lone gunmen people are the minority.

I turned the show off in the third hour after a caller Andrew asked about the link to invading Iraq and Libya due to Sadam and Gadaffi moving away from US currency for the petroleum trade to the euro and dinar gold based currency. Faddis said he he knew of no indications that this played any role in the toppling of these regimes. Really?!?!? Pure BS/Propaganda from beginning to end is right.

I turned my stream off right after that call.

I love Art and am so happy to have him back, however this show was beyond disappointing. This topic and guest was not a great way to kick off debut week of MITD IMO.

I cant listen to Art at night because I'm too old to stay up that late so as a Time Traveler, I started to listen to the replay about 2:00 PM. The Bell Gabbers piss me off to no end with their negativity at times and pot shots but the Bell Gabbers are also the only people in the world who see right through this crap... and it is crap. Art alienated many of his long time loyal listeners with those comments for not accepting the status quo MM verion/guvment version of what really may have been/happened and why, included John Lear who displayed a "wing nut" avatar for quite some time after the comments made by Art....hence my wingnut attachment in my post.

One of the many things I have always loved and respected about Art Bell is that he has brought a plethora of unproven, controversial material to the audience and have let them decide which side of the fence they sit on for the moment. My and many others expectation is that he bring the same unbiased discernment to any and every topic, including partisan politic allegiance and beliefs.

If we really "wanna take that ride" and if we really want to find the truth, then my expectation is,  if Art chooses a guest like Faddis, that it is not to support his personal beliefs and agenda, but to challenge and question the guest in an ubiquitous view, regardless of his personal beliefs.

I am with you on this one kennedymaure....I am disappointed too.

IMHO this was a totally inappropriate guest and topic with little challenge to the guest for the inaugural week of MITD for both long time listeners and for newbies checking out the new show.

Really dont understand the negative reaction to this guest. Perhaps it is a case of the far left hearing something closer to reality than what you get on the evening news and having a negative reaction to it. Seems that some people just dont or cant entertain ideas outside of their closed view of the what is going on in the world. Actually Nancy, a lot of the worlds problems would be solved.....if they let us use 'our awesome arsenal of fine weaponry' to its greatest effect.  If the pols called for a war, they should get out of the way and let us warriors do it.  It would be cleaner in its brutality and much more permanent a conclusion if 'they' would just let us do the job they send us out to do and stay the fuck out of the way.
Having the pols call a war and then try to 'control' the war is kinda like watching someone screw your sister.  It ain't gonna happen anymore than they can control the end result.

Of course, I hate whore politicians.  On more than one occasion they have sent me and the boys out to do a job where they failed, on purpose.  I hate the fuckers because I've been there and most of them haven't, the sleek fat bastards.
