Oh I agree, Burke was his usual self. For being nearly 80, he's still every bit the great communicator and intellect he always was. It's just that, as usual, Hoagie is his own worst enemy when it comes to interviewing.

Could have been epic if Hoagie'd just mined Burke's knowledge of the history of science/culture/economics/religion/education instead of taking a half hour to explain the latest findings about a star hundreds of light years away.
