I still haven't listened to this. I'm doing 7 hours of driving tomorrow so I'd love to check it out, can anyone recommend some good episodes (if there are any)?

My personal favorite guest for Hoaxy is Dr. Richard Spence. I haven't listened to the latest one yet though. But the first three were a solid explanation/history of the Muslim Asian lands. But I'm a bit of a history buff...

The one on the Antikythera Mechanism was pretty cool.

Quite a few; Fr. George Coyne, Tim Russ, Dave Distler, Dr. Andrew Simeon, Dean Haglund, Tim Wallace-Murphy, Geraint Lewis, James Burke.

:o :(

In my mind, Hoagland as a kid is just his current head on a tiny body.  "Mommy?  Why do political candidates take such exorbitant fees for their speeches?"  Maybe he's wearing a little colored hat with a propellor on it.

This.

RCH has a very interesting background best suited to other topics, topics that people actually want to hear at this time of night and this specific host.

Too bad Hoagie didn't do last night and then Robin could do tonight.

Also it's almost never about actual reasoned policy discussions, it's just blaring talking points and outrage-inducing rants.

An actual deep discussion on certain issues on a long-format show could theoretically be interesting.  (But I'd still rather just look at Mars pics.)

Gee I wonder why we have to spend so much on Health Care in our for profit health industry?  Where does all that money go?

Thank you Israel, you are our greatest ally!

I don't seem to hear much good news on late night radio.

Way past my bed time so I bid a good night to you all. ;) :D

Aren't most young adults still covered by their parent's policy past 18 years old?  I thought  I heard you could be covered until 24 years old?
