Modesty compels me to demur; it would take far more educated eyes than mine to spot the Galapagos Turtle Face.

I'm someone interested in the evolution of Galapagos animals. There are birds there that use tools to get at their food. I still wouldn't recognize the turtle face. I'm not an expert though.

Stick around. You'll be an expert in no time.

Birds are scary. For such tiny brains, some of them can use tools, some of them use syntax in their twittering, some of them can speak and apparently understand us, etc. A few million years more evolution and we may well be bowing to our avian overlords.

Especially since some of them do not even need a brain to function.

Also birds have accents. I'm fine with them taking over the world. I think their biggest problem besides pollution is domestic cats. If they can overcome that they have it made.

Well, the birds probably deserve their time in the sun, seeing as how their dinosaur ancestors got shafted by that asteroid. An even bigger evolutionary fear of mine would be if house cats ever develop opposable thumbs.

I'll just leave these here. ;)

Yeah, really. Why haven't they yet? They seem to want to.

I can finally fit a word to some of what RCH does.
Yeah a very common, and often effective, rhetorical technique.
ps: I enjoy your pseudo-astronomy podcasts. Interesting and sometimes hilarious when compared to C2C and RCH guests.

All of the news items for tonight's Radio With Pictures concern Jimmy Carter. Expect much of the first half hour at least to be Jimmy Carter talk.

The man single-highhandedly saved Jimmy Carter.  I wonder who the 'surprise' guest is going to be?

I found these after the last pool party--I think Hoaxy left them behind.

Dr. Falkov! :::swoon:::

Love how they're doing the show prep in real-time. Very skillful.

Good night y'all I'm heading to the back room to make lumps in my bed and be useless ears.  :)

Someone who does more harm in this world than Richard.
You really think? It sure sounds like they are going to incriminate themselves tonight. Good Night.  :D

I will likely listen within the next week or so -- recording now.  I'm going to bed shortly after 12 hrs of work today.  Relaxing for a bit first.
