Hell yeah!  I never could remember that show's name over the years.  Used to watch it before I went to school back in the late 70's into early 80's.  Don't think I ever saw an entire episode because I always missed the last 10 minutes.

What a royal fuck up! I initially was really disappointed it was Hoaxie getting the show after Art. But he really provides a unique kind of hilarity, i think I will even listen once in a while for the laughs. And if it means Richard won't be appearing on MitD to often I am totally happy he has his own show.

It had several names when exported from Japan. It was packaged (and dubbed, natch) as "Star Blazers" for the U.S. market. I didn't know they've made it high-def--I have to watch that shiz like yesterday.

I said fuck to school and was late almost every day that quarter. In retrospect, this was an obvious MKULTRA filtering ploy.

It's not as if I told him about the thread, just merely who the caller was. Secondly, Hoagland is not as dumb as people make him out to be. I think he was going to check out this thread regardless as callers kept referring to Bellgab.

It seems Richard likes mixing it up on the air, so I'm not surprised he found their talk fascinating.

I hope he isn't afraid to have guests on that don't tow the 'enterprise mission' party line.
Allowing callers to state their case without jumping all over them might be a good idea.
It probably discourages some callers from calling into the show if they think Richard will step all over them while they talk.
Hearing multiple sides of the argument is what makes it interesting.

If the radio show literally turns into the "Richard C. Hoagland" show I think it will miss out on a lot of potential and growth.
