Try closing the Tune In app and then opening it back up

Have you people tried the aac stream at the darkmatter website?? I have had absolutely no issues with that one.

That's what I'm using, but it's not working.

Nope, I'm still getting the same sound bite.  Sounds like a skipping record.

See, this show is a good example. We had the phone craziness, but here we are in a thoughtful interview where Richard's doing a fine job. It's the mix that makes it good.

I'll second that.

Seems to be working now.  I use the AAC stream on VLC Player.

Tune In all night for me with no glitches...first time ever.  ???

Spinner

I'm using the Pop-up player, and it's been fine all night.

I must admit that I initially came for the BRAAPS but now that I'm here I'm enjoying the show. I might even call in one day. Need another notch on ye old belt. :P
I don't think RCH has had a call from Australia yet, except for the night he had the X-Files Lone Gunman actor (Dean Haglund) as a guest who lives now in Sydney, Australia.
RCH did however get the same South Africa caller that Art had a few nights ago.

same here!

It might be because I refreshed just before the show started? If I let the stream play straight through MITD without a refresh it usually drops sometime at the start of OSOM.

If I hear "Ancient ruins where the city used to be" one more time I'm gonna punch my balls

Hey thanks for the tip, was just about to give up.  For some reason the AAC stream in my external player kept dropping, but it's running fine in the dm site's popup player.  Good save boxman.

Not recommended. Walls are better targets.

Yeah, that's what I was getting but it seems to have fixed itself.

My stream is going strong. Must be something with Tunein.

From my experience, Tunein sucks, so does I heart radio.
I pipe the URL right through SMPlayer and experience a lot less problems.

BTW - WTH is that beeping noise when the guests' voice hits a certain frequency ?

It's weird, I have tons of problems with tunein if I listen on my Ipad, but if I use the ap on my television it's solid as a rock.

Perhaps thats caused by a skype anomoly?
