Paul Singer has donated nearly $5 million more than Soros this cycle alone.
https://www.opensecrets.org/overview/topindivs.php

And

He (Singer) placed No. 3 overall in the 2014 cycle, giving $11.5 million to conservative candidates and super PACs, and No. 16 in 2012 with $3.7 in contributions. In 2014, he was the top conservative donor overall; the only individuals to give more to super PACs and candidates were investor Tom Steyer and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who both supported liberal candidates.

So, please stop lying.
Soros pledges up to $13 million for 2016

Add in the Soros family contributions and then add in the up to $6 million he gave to the Clinton Foundation.

Go suck an egg.

I was not aware that he had been made a US Citizen. I should have looked that up.

I am surprised they allowed him to be a citizen. You know, after turning in over 100 Jews to the Germans because "if he didn't do it, someone else would have".

1.That's also a lie. He said he was a letter carrier for the Nazis in Hungary, he did not 'turn in' anybody.
2.He was a young teenager at the time facing a terrible situation.  That he did not behave with total integrity is understandable.
3.You're presumably much older and still have no integrity, liar.  What's you excuse?

You really are pathetic.  No wonder you support the deranged psychopath The Trump Thing.

The Clinton Foundation is a charity that works abroad.

Why not actually look at the link first, dumbass.  Singer has donated $22.5 million.

Please choke on an egg and die.  Do a good thing for the world for once.

Understandable to you maybe. Not to the Jews that died in the concentration camp. You are a despicable wretch "He says he didn't do it, I believe him" ... "I understand why he did it, I would have done the same thing".

That would depend on what you consider to be important.  Singer donates a great deal more money to U.S political causes than Soros does, so there is that.
How do you view Soros, is what he is doing to global economy and is planing to do to US economy and political/social
rearranging he is introducing a good thing to solve US and World's problems ?

I've never seen this guy's show before. I've always heard he was a kook from the rest of the media but I guess this is why. Everyone should watch this before the election. He's almost at the last stage of collapsing our country in preparation for the one world government.  ;)

I started watching this video few days ago, and watching it now, -considering his such powerful influence in the Worlds politics
and economy I wonder if he will be /or is/ one of those bad dudes character mentioned in the Bible describing emerging individuals
helping to set up the Antichrist ??

In this video that Dr.MDMD posted, at 34:15 starts very-VERY- disturbing description /including quotations from Soros himself/
about him described in his authorized biography as a ... "Messianic billionaire" ..."I fancy my self as kind of god"

Very important video to watch, /kudos to Dr.MDMD for posting it

Soros is not an ordinary billionaire

I don't know what he is doing to the U.S economy.  My understanding is that he is mostly retired and mostly donates his time and money to what he regards as worthy charities, especially regarding the development of democracies overseas.

I've had a discussion with this with a friend of mine I've mentioned before who isn't a conservative, but likes to listen to right wing talk radio when he wakes up in the morning and also mindlessly regurgitates to me what they feed him.

This is my opinion of Soros' actions re Indonesia.

1.Paul Krugman was not pleased with Soros' actions, I disagree with Krugman on this.

2.Soros' sole intention was to make money.  One of the main ways he did this was by looking at countries that he believed had poor financial governance, and, if he felt their currency was overvalued, he would bet against that currency.

3.Soros' sole purpose was to make money, but he recognized that nations with poor financial governance are often dictatorships and dictatorships were something he didn't like. So, there was a happy marriage of convenience here for him.

4.His bet that the Indonesian and Malaysian currencies were overvalued paid off and he made millions.  This negative speculation though led to a 'contagion' that spread throughout Asia.  I personally don't think Soros had any way of expecting that to happen and I don't think he can be blamed for it.  Also, for the Asian nations that had good financial governance the contagion was short lived and did not cause them long term damage.

5.Although this was also not Soros' intent, the Asian currency collapse precipitated by Soros led directly to the fall of the Indonesian dictatorship.  For this, the Malaysian semi dictator at the time Mahathir called Soros a western imperialist speculator and also threw in some anti semitic comments.

My friend is mostly left wing, so he ate up Mahathir's coments about Soros being a western imperialist but doesn't like it when I reply by bringing up Mahathir's anti semitic comments.

In 1997, shortly before the the Asian Currency crisis, we here in Vancouver hosted the APEC summit which was attended by the Indonesian dictator, Suharto.  There were protests against Suharto here in Vancouver but the protests were held under very strict conditions, it seems pretty much on the demands of this dictator.  My friend at that time complained how Suharto should never have been allowed into Canada.

I told him that I find it odd how he can both not like Suharto but not approve of what Soros did.  While it was never Soros intention to bring down Suharto, it was Soros' intention to directly challenge dictatorships with poor financial governance whose currencies were overvalued, by either making money off of them by betting the currency would go down or by forcing them to adopt modern accepted financial governance standards.

By doing this, Soros was directly responsible for the process that led to the downfall of Suharto.

So, while Soros' main goal was to make money for himself and his shareholders, by focusing his currency speculation mostly on dictatorships with poor financial governance, I personally think Soros was doing a good thing.  There are many economists who agree with me on this, though not Paul Krugman.
