So, any speculation on what Art has been doing (or has in store) since he hasn't been here in a few days to give us his worods or encouragement and to ease us?

No it's been silent.

So maybe talks are going on in which case it would be extremely unprofessional for Art to be making any comments to people on internet forums. Business isn't done in the open, so silence could actually be a good thing.

Of course the other option is Sirius is still blocking progress and Art gets sick of that and throws in the towel, finally telling us months later because he wants to get away from all the fan commotion.

We'll know in the next few weeks I would think, if Art announces his comeback or not.

Pandas cost more to take care of than elephants.

Pandas have been kept in zoos as early as the Western Han Dynasty in China, where the writer Sima Xiangru noted that the panda was the most treasured animal in the emperor's garden of exotic animals in the capital Chang'an (present Xi'an). Not until the 1950s were pandas again recorded to have been exhibited in China's zoos.

Chi Chi at the London Zoo became very popular. This influenced the World Wildlife Fund to use a panda as its symbol.

A 2006 New York Times article[90] outlined the economics of keeping pandas, which costs five times more than that of the next most expensive animal, an elephant. In his original post, Surmo doesn't say he is representing Art at that time, specifically, just that he is helping him.

In fact, in the latter part of the post he states, "as a final legal team and plan of action have been selected"

It was a day later that he called himself "Art's legal counsel"... he hasn't posted since then.

I am guessing that sometime between 11/14 and today a savvy lawyer joined the team who told everyone involved the STFU.  This also likely led to Art's message asking everyone to stop attacking Sirius directly, as that could have/would have led to complicating the whole matter with a counter-suit from Sirius.  This needs to be a single issue case... is the non-compete valid.

I am currently personally involved in a medium profile lawsuit as a plaintiff and our attorney has us on complete hush.  Everything we say on facebook, twitter, anywhere has to be carefully crafted so as to not reference the facts of the suit, or disparage any parties involved.  I had to dance around issues in a few interviews with reporters who were doing stories about the case and the parties involved.  Why do you think they posted and immediately removed the "How did the Free Art Bell" campaign start and the image gallery vanish from ArtBell.com?  Art can't be leading a charge against Sirius in any way.

Yes, I'm taking the silence as a good sign.

I hate to be the one to point this out... But using poor language is one of the more minor flaws that somebody can have.  I consider proof that we as a species still wallow in the primordial sludge to be all around us and present in those who do not use such low, crass, common language as much as those who do. 

I cannot tell you how much I preferred working with a group of people who cursed and were "crude" over some people that I presently work with.  There may not be any bad language, but the back stabbing and ladder climbing while stepping on those beneath them is far more telling of how cheap and common we are.  If you honestly believe that ones class and their language dictate what kind of person they are I would have to suggest that you do not have experience working in diverse environments.

I would far sooner converse with somebody who curses that with a self righteous, judgmental, sanctimonious "holier than thou" type who is willing to step on others and attempt to engineer their failure.  Presently my working environment contains more of the latter than the former... But hey!  At least the language is clean. ::

Rebel against societies norms... After 50 some years of 'anything goes' ...it's laughable that some still think it's an 'in' way to behave. The tattooed generation in a few more years will be as absurd as old wrinkled up hippies  that still live their life stuck in the 1960s. Pathetic foul mouthed, pierced-up, tattooed losers. Real class never changes, the generational losers only find different ways to 'brand' themselves together as a group. Today's cool is tomorrow's joke.

We do not have confirmation of the host yet, but it would be a VERY bad move, from a PR perspective, for SXM to do a podcast containing the title of dark matter, without Art Bell.
I am hopeful that we will get some news from Art or P Paul in this regard very soon.

from what I just read this Facebook page is not affiliated with Art Bell or Sirius XM.

I can't believe the stuff I'm reading on the GNS Sucks thread in that there's a gold mine in there for me to plumb.

I am continually amazed that anyone would continue to listen to $noorge when I read the idiotic comments and questions he's made for years.

Almost every time I now go into the kitchen to see what he's talking about, I have to turn it off because the $noore says something idiotic.

At least he's consistently stupid.
