I agree about Oates being on coast but I am not assuming like most here that George even knew about Oates and Art. As for what language is appropriate; if you don't know that, then I recommend taking some language courses. The language here was the same before Oates was even on Coast, so that's not an excuse.

To each his own. They have a right to their opinions. What I have issue with is the slamming that goes on and the constant foul language. I don't need to read "fuck" in most of the posts I see. Not to mention all the other foul things I read. "Gargling someone's balls" to me is way rude. They think it's funny but I think it's childish and overly rude. Not liking someone is one thing but a lot of what is here isn't just opinions. A lot of it is downright character assignation and defamation of character. That to me is over the top. Some were even commenting about being sued for it in the GNS thread, so those people know it's not exactly cosher. I have no beef with those that don't like George or any of the other Coast hosts, but it can be said without being so rude and defaming that person. Of course that would take some class and wouldn't be as much fun for them.

I could be wrong about this, but my sense is that your specific complaints are a strong indication you're not going to be happy on this forum.   Maybe you already know this, but in a short 5 months from now this forum will have existed for six years.  It began its life as georgenoorysucks.com.  If you click on that link, or simply put georgenoorysucks.com in your browser, it will bring you here still. 

The fact is that the georgenoorysucks thread has been running strong for 5 1/2 years, 1,325 pages, and 39,727 posts all about how badly George Noory sucks.   Incidentally there's a thread in that same section of the board called "George Noory is awesome."  It has 2 pages and 43 posts, though most of them are disagreeing with the premise of the thread title. 

Yes, you will see A LOT of profane language, as well as what you may deem rudeness, character assassination, and probably much worse than that.  Much of what you see will offend you, of that I'm quite sure.  This is the forum you've joined, and it's not going to change to please you or be less offensive to you.  There are other forums about Art Bell and George Noory on the internet that would seemingly be a better match for your sensibilites, but that's up to you. 

MV is the owner of this forum and he's been quite clear about what he deems acceptable here, on his property.  Besides reading the terms of service, you might consider this post from our host, http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=407.msg3235#msg3235, clarifying the acceptable use of language, and also read the subsequent posts on that thread.   If that's not acceptable to you, this probably isn't the forum for you. 

Have you learned how to use the "ignore user" function on your profile page?  That's the best and only remedy to shielding yourself from users whose communications here offend you.  Either that, or just learn to scroll past them.  As MV says in that post I linked you to:

For what its worth, I've asked people to please not swear or use crass words in their comments about Noory. I don't use them in my videos though even I have trouble sometimes thinking of new ways to describe the man. I don't want obscenities because kids might be seeing my videos and because there's enough swearing out there in rap songs and videos and I don't need to add to it.

But earlier this evening I got a post ( and I moderate all posts first ) which said Noory is a dick.

I think the man elicits that kind of response and its visceral or something.

Oh, also, I noticed that the complainer about the use of the word fuck said absolutely NOTHING about the multiple posts where people were using the word shit over and over.

I disagree.

Western standards of beauty are rooted in white imperialism. George's large eyebrows bespeak a noble Lebanese heritage, and to try and widdle them down to fit in with Occidental standards of beauty will only perpetuate the continual domination of the world by outmoded and fascist Western cultural norms. If anything, George should accentuate his proud Lebanese Maronite eyebrows --- eyebrows which stood tall and unbluffed before the endless invasions of Greeks, Arabs, Persians and Western Europeans. I would like to see him grow a full, patriarchal beard, even, and yes, grow it as blue and gray and magnificent as a Levantine rain-heralding sky.

George does a lot wrong but his eyebrows ain't one. So there.
