I'd be proud to have a daughter like yours, tattoos and all. What's that saying - never judge a person until you have walked two miles in his shoes? What's on the exterior doesn't count, it's what on the inside that does and I'll put kindness above being judgmental any day.

As fo MV being "foolish enough to put language to a vote" as someone posted, MV is not foolish about anything, this is the site he created, he set the rules and there are plenty of long term members like myself who are grateful for the freedom he allows, and the lack of heavy handed moderation.

I understand that someone who has a bunch of facial tattoos probably won't be accepted in the corporate world so, in that case, someone would be limiting their choices, should they want to work in the corporate world. But when I read that everyone who has tattoos is an idiot, it just makes me shake my head.

I know it is partially my fault, and I considered starting a new thread.  Usually I do not like to derail threads- but in this case the tracks do not even exist to jump.  Until there is an update this thread is wandering lost in the desert.  My posting something unrelated is the equivalent of telling it to wander North for a mile or two.  Somebody else will post and request it head towards the West for awhile through this barren wasteland.

Here- I will try to get back on topic... Is anybody aware that Art quit?  Man, this sucks.  Any updates?

See, here we are.  Back on track.  Using my insiders knowledge I am going to say there is a 52% chance that he will return before the NC expires in two years, and a 74% chance that he will return at all.  A full 26% chance that we will never hear from him on radio again.  If he returns I would have to estimate a 100% chance of retirement be it voluntary, involuntary, health related or he he may broadcast until he "retires" from this world.  Unless he finds a way to trump houdini and broadcast from the grave I am calling his retirement a certainty at this point.

*** There may also be a 2% chance of his returning to radio, or a 99% chance.  At this point I would say there is only one person who knows Arts plans with any degree of certainty.  But at least I am posting on topic again; even if it is all just smoke and hot air...

I'll make a positive prediction. The odds are good. Art's silent right now because the lawsuit is cranking. It will be settled out of court fairly quickly, and he'll do his stream which will be a financial success and a viral phenomenon.

Bell will be happy with it because he's in control and doesn't have to deal with corporations and finally retires many years from now in a happy advanced old age and hand-picks a suitable replacement.

George's quest for turmeric immortality leads him to become a horrible world-dominating cyborg, more machine than man, to which everyone is required to pay a "Fun things for George" tax and say "All Hail Noory" seven times a day on a mandatory basis. His cabal of cybernetic henchmen including such people as Hoagbot and The Number Cruncher oppress us and compel loyalty. Our only glimmer of hope in life will be Art's show and the meager pizza roll rations that we receive while we construct Pharoah George's pyramid.

Let's hope we find out what exactly is happening within a week or two. Whether he worked something out with his lawyers and SeriusXM and is able to podcast, whether he podcasts anyway and dares them to sue him...or maybe he just throws in the towel and permanently retires, because it would be to much of a hassle of time, energy, and money to pursue legal action
