My favorite Art shows have always been open lines, and my favorite callers are "ALL bellgabbers".   I don't even care what they have to say, doesn't matter if I agree what bellgabbers have to say to Art or not, I just love hearing bellgabbers talk to Art

I have always loved Art's open lines as well as I think he excels at them. Topics are fine, but most people who listen to a certain host usually just want to hear that host and what he thinks about things. When I was the producer and third wheel in a local political AM talk show in Maine I was always trying to do less guests and more of the two hosts. I kept telling them "people want to hear you, not some topic of the day." Many people will tune out if they care not about the topic but if the hosts sat around and talked about the happenings of the day they would stay for that. They never listened, lol....

I think we all need to start being nicer to Art to encourage him to guest host more often.  It would be great if he could host the show once a week, on a random basis (to confuse the stalker).

Art more or less admitted the other day that the reason he is no longer on the air is because he got tired of the criticism he was getting from some people on here. Despite telling everyone that he had a thick skin and didn't like ass-kissers, it turned out that he was only interested in positive responses. He's proved time and again over his career that he doesn't like to do the show for extended periods, but it feeds his ego to make occasional, long-awaited, appearances. If people are happy with being manipulated then that's their right, but it's only fair to point out what is going on. It's only a radio show.

I don't know how Art can claim to be fearful of a stalker and then publish a video showing his property for all the world to see. If he was really in the process of improving security (as he claimed) then that would probably be visible on a recent video, not something from Google Earth that was taken several years ago. That at the very least, is foolish. You can't prove that the stalker story is bogus, but you can certainly look at Art's behaviour and draw your own conclusions.

Maybe you're right, but alas, NO subscriber should EVER be called a troll IMO.  Praise or Criticism alike is in the eye of the subscriber.  But heck, if you don't need the money that bad, then yeah, diss all your critics to your hearts content...They'll leave, and take their money with them.

I have no question everything you've said here is true.  What I'd be interested to know is the opinion of law enforcement professionals relative to you posting such photographs/videos on social media considering the perceived stalker threat to you and your family. 

There are at least four active/retired law enforcement officers who post fairly regularly on Bellgab.  Perhaps they, or other law enforcement types who are 'gabbers, would care to offer their expert opinions?

There's a fair likelihood that what Art suspects as to the identity of his threatener would supersede any such opinions by those who don't know what Art knows.  Yet it may well be that telling the public what he knows would compromise his position.

Yes.  It's also the reason I laugh at the craziness, especially in Britain, about not wanting to publicize the faces of young children.  As if there were someone out there shopping for a good one in some remote place, when there'd be surely many just as good for their purposes that they could see any day on their own street.

Yes, you've made that point before.  My question was directed to law enforcement professionals as to their opinion of posting photographs/videos of your property and family on social media in light of the stalker threat. I'm asking the question of experts, not pointing a finger or criticizing your actions.

The term "stalker" is misleading, meaning someone who's out hunting for Mr. Bell.  It's why I write "threatener" instead.  The threatener knows who & what he wants, & where that person is.  No need to stalk.  The target also claims to have a good idea of who the threatener is.
