George Noory may 'suck' but if I were an intern or some type of radio personality trying to get a start and I was offered an opportunity to work with Noory or Bell .... it's a no brainer.  My family will starve if I choose Bell because he will quit in a few months with zero concern for anyone- His staff, his fans, etc... 
George Noory is at least a professional.  I would add that part of the reason he 'sucks' (not all) is the changing demographics in late night radio and radio in general. He's not there for people like most of us and we're on the internet now for the most part and we're not really there for him either.  It's a different world, a different audience, and with information and debunking methods at the tips of our fingers it can never be the same again.  Noory plays to his audience, Bell is now trying to milk his with carrot dangling bullshit when his audience has had his back in a way I've never seen ..... and it's all taken for granted, expected and not appreciated.

Art let the network get so bad that its worse than Noory. In terms of broadcasting skills, Noory blows Heather out of the water. And Noory doesn't even have broadcasting skills, so that is really saying something.
Art still has the opportunity to fix everything, yet refuses to let Heather go. It's just absurd, and a horrible business decision. Is he afraid to offend her? Shes a big girl. It's not personal, it's business. Cut the cord and let her go. Find a better host and try to salvage whats left of the show.

A good, new host for MITD would have to be someone so ambitious that they would be willing to put up with the toxic situation that is DMDN/MITD.  So far, I know of two perfectly great suggested replacements who turned it down due to not wanting to either (1) have to self-fund or (2) have to put up with the DMDN/MITD toxic stew.
