I'm finally listening to Art on the Gabcast and he must think his listeners are complete fucking buffoons. 

His rationale about not being stalked because he has been off the air.  That's like saying he controls the weather by opening and closing his umbrella.  Man, I'm starting hat this fuckin' guy!

So what if the network folds? It was built for Art and frankly I'll be just as surprised as anybody else if it succeeds. And let's not forget that George Noory Sucks. Hard. lol Haters gonna hate 

It was built around Art but for more complex reasons than just to give Art bell a platform- I imagine there was a huge financial incentive for all involved. Some people (heather included if I remember correctly) quit jobs and/or made life changing decisions to be part of what could have been a wildly successful venture imho.

I think Arts is pathetic at this point to be stringing his fans along like this- "keep paying your $4.99/month and I will be making appearances from time to time." I also think Art has a stake in this even though he claims he does not.

Peoples lives are being affected here.More than just Art bells and tbh the entire reason peoples lives are being affected like this is because of Art bell (and some poor management decisions imo)

I dont fault heather for keeping the job. I fault Keith (or Art) or whoever is pulling the strings for not getting her out of that seat. I'm not going to bash heather, she was placed in a horrible position and has showed integrity imho but she is amateur at best and anyone paying a sub  to MITD is doing it for 'Art" and probably are not  millionaires like Art... And Art has about as much respect for his fans and subscribers as I have for Art bell.

George Noory may 'suck" but if I were an  intern or some type of radio personality trying to get a start and I was offered an opportunity to work with Noory or Bell- Its a no brainer. My family will starve if I choose Bell because he will quit in a few months with zero concern for anyone- His staff, his fans, etc...  George Noory is at least a professional.  I would add that part of the reason he "sucks" (not all) is the changing demographics in late night radio and radio in general. Hes not there for people like most of us and we're on the internet now for the most part and we're not really there for him either- Its a different world, a different audience and with information and debuking methods  at the tips of our fingertips it can never be the same again- Noory plays to his audience- Bell is now trying to milk his with carrot dangling bullshit when his audience has had his back in a way ive never seen...And its all taken for granted , expected and not appreciated.

Yes, I understand. but starting a network with Art bell as a draw and breaking into terrestrial radio could have led to massive things.

Imagine what could have happened had people like bateman, opperman, wells, etc... Were brought together under one banner with the power to break into terrestrial radio?

A ready made network of good shows-

handled properly DMRN could have flourished, expanded and become a real force bridging the gab between online and terrestrial radio and positioning itself to be ready to take advantage or the coming trends . They fucked it up and theres no chance anymore. NOW, the feasibility of becoming something huge and cutting edge is very minuscule. Now its a sinking ship and the'll be lucky to stay on life support. Now someone would be a fool to join the network as talent or anything else.

She recently learned how to pronounce "Scalia", and proved it to everyone by opening with the story again, and saying his name more than 10 times, just to show everyone that she does know how to pronounce it!  She must have been practicing all day! I enjoy live radio, is that so wrong?  Heather simply CANNOT do the job.  We don't give the job of ambulance driver to children.  They're cute and lovable and they have their place in this world, but they can't do the fucking job. 

People need to quit advocating for someone who CANNOT DO THE JOB.  You're doing everyone (including her) a disservice.
