A new report shows your favorite Parmesan cheese may contain some ingredients that you might find disconcerting.

Bloomberg News tested store-bought grated cheeses for cellulose, revealing that all of the cheeses tested contained the anti-clumping additive made of wood pulp.

Walmart's Great Value 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese registered 7.8% cellulose, while Jewel-Osco's Essential Everyday 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese clocked in at 8.8%.

Kraft had 3.8%.
Cellulose is a safe additive, Bloomberg notes, listed as an ingredient in these "100%" cheeses. However, an acceptable level is 2% to 4%.
Fiber - it's added fiber.  A long time ago there was a bread that advertised itself as high fiber and it was pulled off the market because it was saw dust.  Hey, it's plant material.

This thing is playing out exactly how it was predicted here.
I'm surprised MITD has lasted this long, though.  I thought it be done after a month, if Art didn't return on some basis.  I wonder how the subscriptions are going.

Under the bus or into his guest house?

Hmmm....  "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"

I haven't listened to MITD with HW since last year.  Is she still saying she's keeping the seat warm for Art, even after Art was on with MV?

I'm surprised, too. This show keeps moving along.

In every episode I have heard, yes.

thanks  thats good to know i was getting worried about my Parmesan cheese !!!

So the only thing carrying the show now is low powered FM stations that can't transmit over a hill. Of the 14 left, it's questionable if most of those are even still carrying the show.

Hmmm, interesting.  She had to be listening to Art talk with MV.  Maybe she just realizes that to say anything else wouldn't be doing any favors for keeping things going.

Art said it was in the thousands and that Heather was carrying the network on the Gabcast. If the numbers are so great, let's see them. They're struggling to find advertisers (and even under Art they weren't able to charge much per month, as stated by Keith), the sole affiliate that signed up after Heather took over left with only a dozen more remaining, and the number of live listeners on the internet stream were down to Jimmy Church levels back in early January.

Ha!  Just don't mess with my limburger.

The reason it's lasted this long is because Art still has one card left to play. It's his "I may still do the show" card, and it has people patiently waiting for his return. He won't tell people he's decided to never come back, because that would end the show for good. It's pretty sad stringing people along like that.

Why are they still shelling out for the expensive bumper music rights if Art's no longer involved? Doesn't make sense for a "business" hemorrhaging money.

I wonder what the subscription levels are as of today and where it's trending.  I can't believe they're going up and would be surprised if they're staying relatively level.

It's pretty much just trivia, though, to me, at this point.  I'm done with MITD and pretty much Art.  I don't even enjoy listening to his old shows after this latest train wreck.

BellGab is still amusing on it's own, though.  All hail MV!

IT'S GODDAMN SEXISM! YOU ALL JUST CAN'T HANDLE A WOMAN ON THE RADIO! IT'S A CONSPIRACY AGAINST HEATHER BECAUSE SHE'S GOT LADY PARTS!!!! JUST LOOK AT HER REPLACEMENT!

Wow, that didn't take long.  I am comforted, though, to see "The Haystack Help Radio Show" remains on the KLZ schedule.

Well, those haystacks aren't just going to help themselves, you know.

Pray for Goatse the haystacks.

Yeah.  At this point, turn it into the "Heather Wade Show" and really let HW carry her own weight.  It's pretty disingenuous to do otherwise.

Holy crap…last night I listened to Art’s Nov. 10, 1997 interview with Dan Sherman about an “above black” secret military program involving alien communication, Project Preserve Destiny…and I found his story extremely compelling.  Which is startling, because Dan was told by a supervisor in the military that his mother was abducted in the 1960s and his DNA was tampered with by aliens so he’d be capable of receiving telepathic messages from them, which he was assigned to do that for the military in the “grey”/unacknowledged special access program he describes.  After being trained in the language of basic telepathic communication ostensibly employed by an alien race that works with the NSA to some extent, Dan became dismayed when he eventually began receiving routine reports of abductions that featured numerical assessments of the abductees' pain responses, likelihood of recall of the event, and bodily response to whatever tests were conducted on them.

One of the things I love about these old interviews is being about to check online to see what retrospect has to say about them.  A quick Google search immediately brought up this Oct. 11, 2014 article:

“NSA document supports whistleblower claim of alien UFO Communication Program”
http://exopolitics.org/tag/dan-sherman/

So 16 years later, one of the documents leaked by Edward Snowden confirms Sherman’s testimony about the NSA using highly classified “black programs” as cover for even more highly classified programs (which he refers to as “grey programs” aka “above black programs").  We may now even have the name of the umbrella program he feared to mention under threat of prosecution:  Sentry Eagle.

Generally I have to give a second thought to the guests and cases that haven’t been discredited after 10-20 years, but it’s even more compelling when unrelated sources offer confirmation of key aspects of a guest’s testimony.

I also want to point out that this is yet another incident that handily refutes the absurd notion that “all of the real stories get covered by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, etc.”  Mainstream reporting does not keep us informed about all of the significant developments in our world and government.  If Edward Snowden hadn’t leaked this document and the “Art of Deception” document, we would never have heard of these programs, or even entire agencies that were totally unknown to the public and news agencies.

THIS^^^^  I had 60+ gigabytes of old shows that I have since deleted. After all the bullshit he's pulled and him foolishly hiring a female groupie as his producer and now host, I just can't listen to the man anymore.  :( :(

I still love the old shows and listen to them regularly. This recent drama and bad business decisions doesn't really affect the older shows for me. This was before I even knew Noory existed, let alone thought some random forum poster would be taking over the show just because she had tits. Back when Art was on top of his game, and the show's topics and guests were still fresh and interesting. Art in the past is still the best radio I've ever heard. This recent shit, sirius, mitd, heather, doesn't even come close.
