good choice.  was wondering if u wld say bourbon and  branch...cause I wanted to ask what is branch water anyway?

Branch is just plain water as far as I know. The distilleries actually recommend some water to go with the bourbon, it opens up the bouquet as they say.

Yes, it's the moderated forum art mentioned. Nothing against the folks over there. But probably a stupid idea for a host to go over there and say they don't like this forum, while still trying to promote their show here.

I get not everyone can handle bellgab and once art show gets going if the folks who don't want to hang out here prefer to go the kiddie pool over there, more power to them.

Someone fill me in... what is this Contact in the Desert and what was Chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch doing? I guess he HADN'T stopped.
Contact in the Desert is that big UFO event at Joshua Tree, California this weekend.
Church attended there last year and interviewed some of the guest speakers like Linda Howe who were there, from his table outside the restroom area.
Church also met Noory there last year for the first time?
This weekend, Noory is there again along with Church and others...

It's had three or four names if I recall correctly.  He changes the name every time Art makes a professional change.
Don't ask me what the names have been.  I was warned off it by my internet guru.

Haha, OK, I remember that photo. But what was Chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch doing with Art's name as it relates to this event this year?

Water from a creek or stream, not from a tap. I guess these days would be called bottled water or spring water. But, yeah, not carbonated; soda water.
I know that almost all, popular, spirits are fairly industrial but I'm still saddened by contract distilling (and brewing,) especially when branded/marketed as traditional, old, etc and cost $. Sure, technology and beer/mash mix means consistency and better volume (and depending on state various tax/cost savings) but it is, to me, sort of false advertising. (Even though almost everything else we buy was made in similar circumstance.) Interestingly, there is a growing movement to distill at home. A friend of mine does it and is running a small business selling equipment. Apparently it is far safer than older homemade stills and now legal (in many places) if you are making for your own consumption (and some places are starting to allow you to sell if you get proper licenses, etc.) It does take some experimentation and skill to get right. I've had some of his initial stuff and bleech.

back to real thread subject: I can't wait for the new show, and pre-show.  When/where can we pay? Deciding about going Scot or keeping it American? Ardbeg 10yr or Old Overhold or maybe an Evan BIB to keep the night smooth.

Bourbon. And there will be bourbon on the pre show show. Onan is on board now too.

Might have some of that as well!

Prefer alcohol when I'm not drinking water...

I think those big get togethers are fine if you like them. I do not think I ever went to one in all the Years I was on air. Just a matter of what you like.

We are indeed starting to get requests from Radio stations now. I guess it is fine but they have to take the show as is. We will limit commercials to a max of six minutes per Hour. We really designed this for live streaming not Broadcast but what the heck.

I am back working on the Studio Tomorrow, it's like a work of Art (no pun intended) that never gets done.

this might also explain why when I ordered rum in pubs in the UK I was asked to sit by a window!

I cannot even imagine a program with just 6min/hr commercials!  it truly is going to be amazing.

True but look at it this way, it will help with the caller base.
Did you remember to get an extra line put in for theme night open lines? So we can have a man in black or time traveler line.

Look, if they will take the show with the 6 min. break/hr.  I say the more the better.  When/if they start to make demands. . . There's the door, watch your rump.
So excited about the show and hearing you again.  <3

Arn't you worried this is going to cut down on traffic to your site and possibly memberships?

Art Bell without theme night open lines would be like Art Bell without bumper music.

Not only is there, but they are the premier Art Bell forum that is dedicated to Art Bell's Midnight in the Desert.

/No one should ever trust anything with premiere in the title and/or description folks, hahaha.
