We are indeed starting to get requests from Radio stations now.

Art I think this is great. The more people that can hear you on whatever platform the better. If the only calls were from bellgabbers, while I love the banter here, it wouldn't be as riveting as someone that just discovered your show. Some of your best calls were the ones that started off "I was scanning the radio, came across your show & was hooked."

Art has more fans than us BellGabbers. All you have to do is take one look at Facebook, or Twitter to see that. If anyone was on Myspace the would eat it up too.

So we can have a man in black or time traveler line.

Racist.

Arn't you worried this is going to cut down on traffic to your site and possibly memberships?

This is KGRA logic.

Yes, we need men in white... and black crows too. Not just the white ones.

Art likes share his thoughts while Noory only post when he is drunk. Another thing that sets them apart.

What about black time travlers?  "Yeah this is Tyrone from the year 2038......  um.....yeah... there is no more ribs.... they is illegal..."

*this is only satire. Ribs will still exsist in 2038*

Everyone looks cooler with shades on even at night, and they help cover you while geeking out.

Someone fill me in... what is this Contact in the Desert and what was Chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch doing? I guess he HADN'T stopped.
He had a blurb on his bio for CItD that said (if I'm remembering correctly) he was brought into DMRN to fill in for Art until Art's non-compete was up.  Insinuating that Keith and Art called him and asked him to fill in.  He's apparently taken that off of his bio now.   As if!!!

Yes, I would think more listeners. Would mean more subscribers as not everyone can catch every show live. Plus there will be more exposure which will drive people to the website who otherwise would not have known anything about the show.

I love this post so much.
Only a GIF from the Duchovny directed "alien baseball' episode of X Files could defeat this. Too bad I am so lazy. :(

The more he cleans up, and the faster, the better.  He needs to tell his Knots to take down their photoshopped stuff everywhere they may have posted it where it can be publicly viewed via web search.

I think those big get togethers are fine if you like them. I do not think I ever went to one in all the Years I was on air. Just a matter of what you like.

We are indeed starting to get requests from Radio stations now. I guess it is fine but they have to take the show as is. We will limit commercials to a max of six minutes per Hour. We really designed this for live streaming not Broadcast but what the heck.

I am back working on the Studio Tomorrow, it's like a work of Art (no pun intended) that never gets done.

Art

I wonder how often stations call PremRat asking to carry George Noory's show

A station carrying a show with 6 commercial minutes an hour that has listeners is better for them than a show with 20 minutes of commercials an hour that no one listens to.

Please, enough has been said about that sleazy lounge lizard . Can we get back to Art Bell?

Specially when that show is an infomercial in and of itself.

Wouldn't the stations pay to carry the show?  Maybe not as much as the normal going rate, since they can't sell as many commercials per hour, but something.  They need content and listeners that time of night for sure

Plus, there are going to be people who hear the show that would not have otherwise been aware of it.  And some will want to be able to replay past shows, and will pay the $5

I don't see this as cutting into site traffic or memberships at all

Paradox

All this news is very exciting.  I know a few people who will be incredibly happy about the live streaming of shows and the ota broadcasting.  Personally I will be subscribing.

Has anyone found someone to bounce the stream around the world?

I would happily listen to 20 minutes of Art's cool bumper music or whatever an hour if it made the show friendlier for any radio stations that might want to pick it up.  Art's talent deserves more than a podcast.
