"Lay lady lay" by Falkie would be my choice.

I'm going to do 5 songs. Those are tough enough as it is. Maybe 6.
It's been a long time since I sung on stage or in choirs. I missed it.
Trying to memorize the words is tough. It's been years.

If someone mentions me, I'm supposed to be silent ?
Ok.
I'll shut up.

art... jimmy church is a nobody.  you're one of the greatest broadcasters of all time.  many here would argue THE best.  jimmy church doesn't deserve to be acknowledged by you.  he's a nobody and hopefully that page on your website bearing his name is only temporary because he doesn't deserve it.
Yeah, I don't see how JC can consider himself "heir apparent" with his shock jock approach and 80s hair band KillerTracks cuts. Dude isn't even in the same league.

Cweb you are absolutely correct. Just having on-air experience does not make Jimmy Church = or > than Art. Looking back painfully at who took over Coast...I understand why he thinks he can stroll in and take the captain's chair.

MV is the Boss... So until he puts the brakes on... No worries Falkie, entertain us, it will be months before Art returns to the airwaves.
Your 'latest' singing gig will help past the time and nobody knows what greatness could spring forth???!!!

why should I do that? I'm sure you know they're all just making shit up, or copying shit others made up. Best to improvise.
It's nice that u r so passionate about what you do. It's clearly evident. How many radio personalities can say they lost 12 million listeners?

^^^^ nice way to think about how amazing Art was and still can be if his new endeavorers are successful!

Art is the supreme master of late night radio. Didn't Prem-Rad have to package Noory with more popular shows?

DesertFox

Since Art Bell is a BellGab member--does that mean Art is vaguely lovable?

This music thing may never work out so I have decided to hire Falkie who will simply sing my bumpers on request.

Art
Why stop there? FALKIE can weave a winding tail between coughing fits and has a NDE story to boot.

"Wanna take Falkie?"

Doesn't really work does it?

Given the nature of many of Art's pronouncements, I think its more like loveably vague.  ;D

Today's fun radio fact:

QuoteiHeart’s consolidated net loss totaled $762 million for 2014 compared to a consolidated net loss of $584 million in 2013.

$178 million higher.

I'd love to hear Falkie's phlegmy rendition of Some Velvet Morning. I bet it would be snotterific.

Amazing. I seem to recall some commercials about "incorporation" on C2C etc stations. Thinking back on it I wonder if it would be possible to "incorporate" yourself and somehow be able to exist by various mechanizations these companies use. Sell stocks and bonds, lease back stuff to yourself, buy back and manipulate the stock/bonds you've issued prior, rob Peter to pay Paul, still be spending with no net gain but lots of cash-flow, and all the nice tax loop-holes, etc.  And then, if worst comes to worst, declare the "incorporated" you bankrupt with a golden parachute or restructuring plans and funds to the real you and then start over?

Sure, you can set up a corporation and do all your investing through it -- making the corporation liable for any short falls and not you personally.
