That was a great show. I love hearing those calls and Art's reactions to them.

Interesting fact about that guy. He was scheduled to appear on one of the morning shows in New York to plug his 911 CDs when he was bumped due to situation that was unfolding on 9/11.

I had heard the one about the deer on the Bob and Tom show about 20 years ago. And my fave was the one where the lady picked up her car from the shop and found that GIANT turd in the backseat!!! Hahahaha

Guys, I hear you get the stream FASTER if you delete System32.exe from your computer. But I'm having trouble finding the gosh-darn anykey.

I'll call Geeksquad.

;D
I think you will be more successful finding it if you turn off your antivirus and surf porn sites for awhile.  Just a helpful suggestion. ;)

It's still a go. I'll bring the pizza punch.
I refuse to go unless pizza rolls are served as appetizers.

Your Star is rising.... 'your' signs point to leadership skills.
To quote Jimmy Church, its 'your' "time to get crack'in"

Let us know, when the Art Bell Convention donation clicky is activated.

Hold on... You mean that George will NOT be there?  Or do you mean that he will be hosting a meet and greet (tickets just $40 if purchased in advance) prior to the main BBQ?

Weren't we talking about the Art Bell BBQ?  I'm afraid only B-list celebrities are invited to George's pizza roll Meet and Greet.  But it will be held at the exact same time as Art's BBQ and use the same catering company, whenever that information becomes available.

Funniest 911 Call Ever

coaster

I'm listening to the show.  He had Hoagland on talking about the rover landing on Mars. The wacky calls are playing now, the great bumper music. Art really kicked some serious ass. Can't wait for July.

well i have yet to find a music licencing company that handles this type of rights payments
I still think DM would have to pay the licensing company the same as always, but they'd likely have to guesstimate the downloads, pay a lump sum, and go from there.

Out of that lump sum (cost) they would have to pass on some charges to the subscribers.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the subscribers would be paying a fee to the licensing company per download or anything.

I just somehow thought that Jorch would find a way to crash it and profit from it given his history hosting Coast...

Falkie2013

well, if jorch shows up every attendee should have a box of uncooked pizza rolls at the ready and we could have a pizza roll food fight but all of it directed at jorch. would be a you tube smash !

No program can exist on NO income so we will depend on some aspects that we can charge for
that will include the ability to download the show once it has aired, perhaps the ability to send
a fast blast, and any other goodies we can throw in to perhaps ask for five bucks a Month from
those willing to help, but make no mistake the live stream will be free, I want NO limits on the
possible number of people who can tune in.

Sorry that I am late with this, but pirating WILL definitely exist, there is no getting around that. If you have to up the ads to ~10 minutes/60 min, then that is 100% fine with me. It isn't anything like that 30min+ that the other show has.

Also, really look at putting the shows yourself onto youtube. I think Jimmy did this. You can either make $$$ from youtube and provide a venue for people to listen for free, while giving you revenue, or let it be pirated and make no money. Just my 2 cents.

Awaiting your return.

I was messin' around and made this today. Thought it looked pretty cool. I may keep working on it and make it look better. Who knows. Lets see what happens when the beer kicks in..

Indeed. I just let it render for a few hours and didn't have the time to change anything, as I would have to wait another few hours to see the results. Basically just a test render. Twas fun though.

It looks like it says "Art Matters".
