Sense it is being discussed yet again. I'd like to point out that the Ghost Buster Gals have not been back on the show since, and thay they were semi- regulars before they appeared on Art's show. Also RCH has been you significantly less and we know for a fact that was related to his appearance on Dark Matter. There is really no defending Noory's position.

But do we want RCH as a guest? He is very entertaining but it's SOO fiction.  I know him and Art are good friends so we will probably be hearing RCH on Art's new show. If he is going to have him on as a guest, then Art needs to really HIT him HARD with tough questions.

Of course Art can have the astrophysics guy as a guest, but then RCH would be done for good. lol  Not sure if Art even wants the truth.

That is an entirely different debate. I am alright with him once every blue moon, some of his crazy completely insane theories are entertaining, plus there is the nostalgia factor. But he should not be used over and over again like how Noory used to use him as his "science advisor". He was completely over exposed.

Art challenges him a lot more that Noory and to RCH's credit he seems to enjoy it. I'd like to see him debate Astroguy that would be cool on Art's show.

To be fair I thought the Ghost Buster Gals were sub par guests and RCH did call Noory a limp noodle. It was perhaps the only accurate thing he has ever said.

Yes, but sub-par guest are common place on coast to coast. That doesn't stop Noory from re- booking them.

Since I've been PM'ed about this, I'll repeat what I wrote in response:  If something were ever set up on any radio show for a debate between me and Richard Hoagland, I will not debate him without VERY strict "rules of engagement" and topic selections.  Otherwise, he could easily pick some aspect of his mythology with which I'm unfamiliar and it would not be fair.  He's been spinning his stories for decades, and it would not be a fair debate for me to need to know his material as well as him.

Any topics would need to be agreed upon before-hand and should focus on a few specific science claims, and there should be time limits for statements and responses.  Richard loves the sound of his own voice (I can say that without fear of stating an ad hominem for everyone says this, including him) and so without time limits, Richard would by far dominate the conversation and it would be pointless for me or even the host to be there.

Fortunately, I also know how these guys work. I'm usually pretty good at picking up on that Moving the Goalpost tactic.  That's why this also requires a moderator who can recognize it, which I honestly am not confident that George could do.  I think Art could.

People give LMH a hard time, but I've always enjoyed her appearances and the DM show with her was awesome.  She was in rare form that night, and I think it's because she was so happy being back on with Art.

With all this talk of DMRN I tuned in the other day on my phone and LMH was on Dreamland with Whitney.  I hadn't heard her in years and years, and I remember her as being fairly hard nosed and a good investigator.

But she seems to have joined the kook parade along the lines of David Sereda, Mike Bara, and and th Zeta Talk woman.  I guess that's where the money is.

Those dingbats were never on before.


They were simultaneously double booked and were caught up in a brief hissyfit of the low budget, overnight, 30 day long, ratings battle between Arthur bell and Snooron & Co.




Their 15 seconds of warholesque fame was more like 3 and 1/2 seconds of lambasted media filler.




The only reason they were remembered so well, is their position in the brief, silly feud.  And by how ridiculous they were giggling, swearing like a sailor, and selling their rocks on both show while wrapping their arms around any para topic into their worldview.

I like both intros. The Moody Blues intro had a nice "new show" feel to it. Nothing will match the classic feel of Art opening to The Chase, but perhaps he'd like to signal another new era with yet another intro song.


The tunes are always good, so I don't really care any which way-- just a thought.
