So if we agree on the basics, that makes me question to when there will be closure to this thread.

Also, more tangible than those facebook pages are Art's few cryptic posts over on Fantastic Forum, which are now buried in this thread back 20 pages or somewhere around there.


In case you are interested in listening to some "fresh" vintage art bell, I have posted a link to a show (not hosted on this server  : ) that I recently came across which dates back to 1992, making it the earliest coast to coast material available. It's in the "open lines" section of the forum and includes an interview with John Lear and Bob Lazar.

I don't post near as often as most of you. I really have been enjoying the funny posts, and many of the posts about Art returning I question legitimacy of while hoping in some part that they are true.

With that said, this thread has become very acrimonious and off topic.  After all, we know Art quit Coast. If he returns, then a new thread should be started called Art returns to radio. So far after 50 some pages I've yet to see any tangible evidence that Artie is coming back. The closest thing is some Facebook page with a terrible Picture of Art on it that's private.

Most of us can agree that Snoory has guests on only to interrupt them so he can talk about himself and never really conduct an interview.

There is instant closure for you on this thread the moment you buzz off.   Every time I come here I laugh out loud, hear some good music, see some marvelously creative avatars and sometimes graphics. I no longer have Coast as the same thrilling show (I have it as a source of mocking fodder), so why does it bug you if this thread goes off-topic here and there?

Gosh, I wish it was as simple as a mid-life crisis - mine was buying a muscle car.  But quitting your job, becoming an ex-patriot in a third world country, all for the purposes of finding a young receptical for your man seed?  That smacks of selfish, desperate narcisism.  Mr. Rock never mentions such prosaic notions as love, finding a soul mate, a partner.  Nope, it is all about him and his needs, his wants.  "My wife",  "my passion as a family man". Society, particularly north american women, have denied him his rightful possesions - young, fertile women and their offspring - so he will go to a place where he can acquire these things - in much the same way I aquired a Hemi Daytona.

Rock, there's no need to head overseas to look for a mate.  You can't go wrong with an American girl and there are a lot of single ones out there.  Starting Monday, ask a different woman where you live and work to go get a Coke with you.  Try it for a week and another week until she finds you.  As for a family, keep adoption in mind.  We are becoming a world of orphans.  Anyone can  be a father or mother, but not necessarily a Mom and Dad.

I'm inclined to believe it's Art's page. I remember Ian saying he was being selective about the friends he adds because he was getting up to the max. But if it is some jokester pretending to be him, we will find out eventually.

I think you missed my main point which is we all should try to stay on the same pro-Art team and not attack each other like you just did to me. Some people are upset when a thread jumps off topic.  Me, not so much.  I'm in it for the entertainment and I enjoy the diverse personalities here and some people are touchy, so what?  We do throw in personal stuff now and again, but it's late, and we are night people... I like the personal, and most people know I'm Art's age so my reference to "old hag" of 57 is a joke.

But I'm puzzled by your post.  As a feminist, I was responding to Fort Rock's post blaming feminists for his reproductive frustrations.  How is this an attack on you?  Feel free to PM me if you feel more comfortable--I'm a friend!

The passport discussion is there, I'm out drinking sake right now or I'd grab it.

I brought up the fake Facebook pages a while ago in this thread, without much response. Can anyone locate the fake pages? I believe that Knapp outed the fraud and gave his full name on the air. The fraud was asking for donations using accounts to falsely represent himself as Noory, Bell, Knapp, Punnet etc. Knapp had some funny comments on it. shouldn't be hard to distinguish between these accounts if they were created independently from eachother.

I have more to drink gotta go!

We may return to the U.S. at some point for a visit or more,

to have missed the great Recession? the economy here is just

seems to be doing a great job and with Asia in school and so
many friends it is hard to consider a move, as most of you know
I love the Desert, it is majestic and very private but not the best
environment for a four Year old.
