George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

Morgus

Looks like we get Noory hosting tonight for his first Sunday of the month c2c show plus the horrific listener contributed bumper music.
Noory has what appears to be another bible-thumper guest scheduled on Biblical Prophecy and End Times.
Noory should take off more days for his burned mouth to heal and let Knapp fill in instead.

I am pretty sure I heard the UFO Phil song last night (after car crash).
Listened on KFI Los Angeles.

You did. I turned on Coast for a few seconds, at the end of the show, before I quickly turned off the program. I heard two or three seconds of Phil's classic. I missed the full version of "Somewhere Over The [Ukulele] Rainbow", though.

Hey fellow anti-nooryists. Long time reader, first time poster.  Have any of us tried getting in touch with Art and appealing to his empathy. He must know how we're being tortured by george. A podcast once a month, thats all we ask. It would have 10x as many listeners as noory's pathetic Ghost to Ghost this year.

I was listening to C2C last night , guest Richard C. Hoagland was talking about some kind of apartments on the Surface of Mars. I was so dissapointed when I finally got a climpse of the images. Don't laugh but I was expecting to see a "NO VACANCY" sign.  :-[

Noory mentioned it yesterday. He said his studio is in (on) Kona.

Can you get crappy pre-made turkey sandwiches at convenience stores on Kona?  Or do we get to look forward to Nooron maiming himself with microwaved poi?

I thought the whole beach front property on Mars thing was Bara's bullshit. Those two are cut from the same shitty cloth.

ziznak

they've found stranger things up on that lil red planet ya know... this pic has always baffled me.  I don't think it's a coincidence...

yup... c2c merch on mars... the whole planets probly just some friggin Premier marketing conspiracy... george and tommy have no clue...

Can you imagine what would happen if Noory heard a guest's phone ring during an interview? If someone coughs on the phone Noory usually chews their ears off for it ! lols

...then brings up his amazing cough/mute button. gee wiz george sure is dealing with a lot of technology.

Splendid suggestion, Morgus. Simple George should be good to himself and take at least a month off. We care that much.

George really deserves a round of applause. Night after night, without fail, he comes up with new ways to show his utter incompetency.

Scully

Just heard George telling a story about his son's wife who twisted an ankle and was sitting beside the road withering in pain, and no one stopped to help her.

Just one more for the record books.  ::)

Nucky Nolan

"My six-inch leg was shorter than the other one."

"She was withering in pain."

I caught these comments within a time span of two or three minutes. EASL comes to mind.

Nucky Nolan

"It brings a new meaning to the word, life in prison."

He just said that. I'm sure that I missed some. I seldom listen close or long enough to catch them.

Various individuals contacted him, compadre. It was probably ineffectual due to the fact that Bell was like the mad scientist who created Frankenstein. I know, I know; Noory would be called Bell's monster or Bell if we followed Shelley's novel to the letter. "Frankenstein" was catchier.

Noory's M.O.  Just going through the motions to get to the end of the show, if even that far.  He could care less about any interesting leads, unless it involves an all-you-can-eat pancakes offer at some 24 hour joint.

Yes, heard that call and was disappointed that George didn't follow up and get more information. She sounded entirely credible.

Nucky Nolan

"Is prophecy good or bad?" :P

I predict that Noory will sound like Hal Lindsey tonight. He already made it sound like the Vatican was all for the Mark of the Beast. Tonight's guest should give away his books, tapes, etc. for free since he thinks that we're in the End Times.

Maxwell

Two Nooryisms tonight:  "Withering in pain," and "Good luck with you."  I have never heard nor read those phrases in my life and I bet you haven't either.  If you said either of those, you'd immediately correct yourself with "er, writhing in pain" and "--I mean, to you."  But that's because you're not an unbelievably slow-witted talk show host.

Remember how much Art disliked cell phone calls? Sometimes asked the caller to call back on a land line and then ended the call.
As for tonight's program? Oh, no >:(  Another Bible and end times program. Don't George and the producers get the point that this isn't fare C2C listeners want to hear?  Grrrr

... did anyone hear the 80 y/o woman during open phones Fri/Sat night? The woman was married to a CIA operator who disappeared a few weeks after the JFK assassination never to be seen again? George probed with a few questions which was leading to some potentially very interesting material. George dumped her and kept plugging along. ...

I've just got to add my 2 cents to the string of us who were equally annoyed when he did that.  Absolutely maddening ...  >:(

I'm so beyond disinterested in this guest and what ever he is saying about the anti-christ  :-\

Unfortunately, the listeners have changed. A large percentage of the audience are Protestant fundamentalists or gullible New Age devotees. I have Christian beliefs, and I respect some Buddhist, etc. tenets, but I'm not a big fan of "The Late, Great Raptured Earth" school of Harold Camping theology, as brought to you by Jack Van Impe. I can say the same kind of thing when it comes to consciousness physicists who share their messages, on changed frequencies in the next dimension, at their upcoming seminars.

That could explain it, a change in listener base. I'm open minded about religion and belief, but it's not a topic I expect to hear so much about on C2C. Agree with you about the consciousness movement and those who come on Coast promoting their theories and books. None of these subjects make for interesting late night listening. Better reserved for the lecture hall.

ziznak

THis is friggin awesome people are actually listening and posting while the show is on live again!!!! I've been kinda half listening while I've gone about my night but I know this one's a redownload and sitdown while I listen again... For what it's worth this guy sounds more of a JBW guest than a snoreboy lover... although his religious delusions seem quite snorey.

This guest is a waste. The one world government began when the federal reserve took over many decades ago. And who is he to say the anti-christ is returning? Whatever happened to the prophecy of Christ's comeback, and if true, who will announce him/it?  I rather hear a positive show about the Christ consciousness returning. This guy sounds like one of those witch hunters.

I think George said it best - his listeners are Drunks, Druggies, and Delusionals.   I would add Trailer Park insomniacs.

There are only a few groups of people up listening to talk radio in the middle of the night, and George has probably managed to drive off most of the inquisitive and intelligent ones that comprised Art Bell's base.  What's left are the bored, the people tired of the same old radio tunes, and the gullable that love Geroge and will swallow whatever it is he is talking about that night - from gloom and doom to remote viewing to his weirdo and uninformed political and religious ideas.

We're talking about people that couldn't name a government official other than the President, if that.  The Bible Belt at least goes to work in the morning - I doubt very much that's really his audience.  If they are, they aren't calling in much.  He probably has as many tweakers and other losers for fans as anything else.

Not to sound like a pedantic jerk, but it was wild to hear the guest call Charlemagne by his C2C name, "Sharlymain", three times in a row. I still say that he should not charge one red cent for his DVD collection on the approaching End Times (which have been approaching since Abraham learned to ride his wheel in Ur) since it's so extremely important that the world hears his take on things. I've heard many variations on the Rapture and Tribulation themes since I was a kid, and I'm no kid. The guest is entertaining, though, and you can't get more C2C than "End Times Ministries".

ziznak

not to be a dick but... most witch hunters are batshit crazy christians ya know?  I'm not exactly sure what Christ consciousness is either? what the fuck is that? Is that like when I wake up covered in cheese wiz next to a rotund transvestite and look around like "CHRIST!!!"
