Hi West- Glad to see you here- please post more often. I can't take the scaremongering, especially when presented by two such characters. It's all been done before. Maybe they could appease the almighty by reviving another old timey practice.

Well in fairness he acted appalled but the way he acts, chuckles, etc give off a vibe differently than the literal words he used. "How horrible" (but the undertone and creepy chuckle makes me think he likes the idea/image of whatever tragic event the guest has mentioned.) And why even ask, so often, if horrible things can happy to babies and children?
This was one of the events mentioned.

He also wanted to know if the people who died from SHC felt pain as their internal organs were being burnt into a powder. It's akin to him wanting to know the gory details of how someone dies in a horrific plane crash and excitedly talking about the intense fear they'd experience  I suppose that's his sorry attempt at feeling/displaying empathy, in his truly bizarre way. Those kinds of macabre details fascinate him to no end, creepily to many of the listeners.
